I'm trying to decide, long-term, if I should blow my savings on my dream guitar or on a new recording computer to replace my ancient and surely dying one.

The ability to record for another 5-7 years or a guitar to last the ages....

hmmmmmm

Both. I've got a MacBook Pro, 2011 modell that's still rad for recording. Shove an sdd in it and it'd be super fast. Should be cheapish.

Toneczar Vault incoming. My number has come up for a new one, but I was able to pick up a used one for less than new price so I jumped on it as Toneczar stuff always seems to be listed at $100+ new pricing.

Now my pedalboard shall be complete. :excellent:

Oh, did you buy used? I'v never done that before, I've always been too afraid something will go wrong and I won't have Apple Care to fix it.

I would be wary of buying 2nd hand computer equipment. but really it should be good as long as it's functioning you can wipe the drive and you should be fine?

As long as you can leave a bit of a safety net do one or both. Just don't completely wipe your savings out. Bad shit always seems to happen shortly after and you're either selling shit off or begging your parents to bail you out.
