But I'm glad it's on Netflix, I've wanted to see it since it came out but I missed it in cinemas
Haha yeah but it's much more watchable, and listenable. Let us know what ya think

I have somehow never watched The Wire, but did finish The Deuce (on HBO), which was as wonderful a trajectory of a 15-year period of NY that probably will never get handled again as well by anyone that didn't already live it out themselves.

I am still bummed that The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell didn't get picked up for a second season, but it's all I'll be watching until Friday, along with all the Simpsons' Treehouse Of Horror episodes, and then, finally, start Watchmen.

I only started watching this cause I'll watch anything Greg Araki directs. I'm pretty into it but because it aired on Starz... it is a 'tad' soft-core-y. But it's also a really cozy show!

That Araki series looks intriguing. The soundtrack will no doubt be delightfully 'gazey. Season 3 of Atypical (Netflix) has been amazing thus far.

OMG bro... don't get me started on the soundtrack. I was kind of on the fence even during Episode II, then in III they played a BURIAL track. The whole series went up a letter grade for me just for that.
It was jarring though... hearing the choon in the LA setting instead of visualizing like... the streets of Elephant and Castle in the dark.

Season 9 of Shameless has been pretty great so far. It's been a cool experience to see the actors/actresses and the characters they portray grow throughout the years. And then William H Macy is essentially the constant. Looks the same and acts the same. Frank is such a wonderful bag of shit.

Guy I used to work with turned me onto the show. He stopped watching it because he started hating a couple of the characters... I feel like that's part of the charm. Show's that shit begets shit and some people just don't know how to change. Nice change of pace from most of the other "happy ending" garbage.

Yeah that's exactly what I liked about it; no happy ending fairytale bullshit. I mean, I am still always hoping they make it somewhere, but it's a much more realistic view of the world. I only stopped watching because I didn't have a way to watch it and missed a few seasons.

Finally saw the new Jim Jarmusch movie, The Dead Don't Die, it was really disappointing. A good chunk of the big name actors they got had barely any screentime, there were scenes that felt like they were just added for the sake of adding them, plot lines that didn't go anywhere. I really was excited but it didn't feel like much of a movie at all.
