For those old EHX pedals that don't have a 9V adapt, I just end up clipping off the battery snap and soldering on a 9V boss-style barrel and leaving the battery door (or whatever) off so that I can stick power in there.

Just thinking about Muff modding makes me want to go play my EQD Hoof, as I ahven't spent that much time with it yet. This would be a spite/rage/apathy thread post normally because my girlfriend is sleeping and therefore I can't crank the Hoof and get crazy.. BUUUUT I've got a Weber attenuator now and I can play through headphones. SCOOOOORE.

Speaking of which. I'm pissed at my black muff, there is a lose wire or something that has been making it cut in and out the last few days, it works fine if I have it turned backwards for some odd reason which puts the knobs in front and I end up kicking them :cry:

Wiring in those is shitty. It's like they imposed normal EHX wiring but did it even cheaper... the Sovtek wiring was a lot better then the post Sovtek. :idk:

I think it's either a fucked up solder joint on the resistor I changed or I bumped the replacement battery jack wire with the iron.

IKR? when I opened it I had to spend an hour finding out where everything was because some one decided to BRAID the wires from the tone pot.
