I mean of course you can do whatever you wish with your money, I just don't see how that guitar is actually worth 3400, although EBMM makes some really nice guitars (I like their guitars more than their basses)

if u don't need the sampling UW version, the new lowered prices for an MD are insane. i think its $599?

Yea the SWS-1 are $599 now, really crazy. I'm going to try and spring for a used UW V1, seems like I can nab one for the 650-700 range. I'm not going to be sampling all the time, but I would like to be able to do short bursts of sampled sounds here and there.

3 poly isn't that bad. not that great. 6 operators tho and the ability to load DX patches is p. nice!

You can poly chain the volca fms so, provided they keep the normal volca price point, buying two would still be a good deal.

Not too horrible no -- I get on with 4 on the microkorg just fine, but kind of had it in my head that was the absolute minimum I could endure. Might still have to check this one out as the price and rest of the specs are amazing. Easy to return if it don't jive.

I moved here and tried to hang with Kbit but he couldn't deal so that's why he moved.
