I really liked that book--that sorta book can so underperform expectations, but it really delivered.

I used to give myself Christmas/Birthday presents, but then I realized that instead of that, I could get myself things when I accomplish a goal. It has worked surprisingly well.

Well for those of us who never accomplish anything, a Christmas fuzz is good for the soul.

I got myself an Improbability Drive for Xmas. Twas the only gift I got.

However, my dear sweet mother is going to pay for the kitten that has started hanging around to have her shots and such so my son can have a cat to grow up with. So that's awesome on so many levels. I just hope she can handle the fuzz.

Getting me one of these basterdz comin.


Got some JRR Tolken stuff from my dad, candy, clothes, a Van Der Hagen shave set, itunes cards n cash, iron man tooth brush, tiny rum bottles, and got some other unidentified loot coming from my fam in the mail.

Didn't get anything gear related. But that's ok because I really, really don't need anything else. LOL.

two pair of pajama pants (you wouldn't think this would be awesome, but it is)

50 dollar Best Buy gift card
50 dollars cash from my father in law
two form fitted hoodies from my mom (I like form fitted, it shows of the swole better...duh)
some socks...again needed bad. lol

And that's pretty much it. I told everyone I didn't want anything. So that's cool with me.

no gear besides some guitar strings - too much work for any family to bother figuring out what I would want and where to get it
some socks, chocolate, beer (gone), gift cards and some cash. I generally don't like getting gifts, especially unnecessary stuff, so this was just right.

No gear stuff, I buy enough of that myself .

I got some nice jumpers, couple of tshirts, and a really nice suitcase which is awesome because I really needed a new one but it's the sort of practical thing I hate buying myself.

No music gear this year. I got a sweet Topo backpack for my astrophotography hikes

Cool! What kind of stuff do you shoot? The GH cameras are supposed to be amazing for video.
