Those could ALL be Arion pedals and I'd still say "Dayyyummm" at that tidy cabling job. Nice. Work.

Alright. Here's my board. Recently made new cables for the whole damn thing so that everything would be murdered out in black.
Tried pancake cables about a year back but I really didn't like them all that much. Plus they weren't black.
Signal chain is:
Korg Pitchblack --> Fuzzrocious Demon King --> Blackarts Toneworks Pharaoh --> Fuzzrocious Rat Tail --> Earthquaker Devices Sea Machine --> Earthquaker Devices Organizer --> Montreal Assembly Goodbye 24 v2 --> Blackout Effectors Cadavernous Reverb --> VFE Blueprint Jr. Delay --> TC Electronics Flashback x4

my current GB24 settings end up with this really cool, longish decay on them as a result of the organizer.

I found the Organizer and the GB24 having a lot of overlap, but I like the GB24 a lot more. Both pedals are really interactive with others so try moving them around if you haven't yet! I liked running a delay into the Organizer a lot

Tristan wrote:There's not that many people who have both I think, could you elaborate on the differences in sound between the Pep Box and the Warmjet V?
Hey, Tristan! Well... The Pep Box is very old school Maestro Fuzztone-Fuzzrite kind of thing... so it can achieve those sounds, but it s more aggressive... and with the tone knob you basically have two pedals, when i use it alone, all the bass up, is more... modern... (Ian will kill me...), But stacked with the Wamjet, with the tone know all the way down (original sound), it adds treble and some gated sound...which is necessary... the Warmjet is super noisy, unless the two bias knobs are dimmed... and the best sounds, for me, are on the other side of the knob... Amazing pedal, the Warmjet... super hi-gain-crazy-overtones-flanger-like-tail. (hehe, si?) Again, with the tone knob all the way down it produces very strange overtones... difficult to explain it with words...
Anyway, the Warmjet already sounds like 2 or 3 fuzzes stacked by itself...
here you have both peals on, on the treble side, all the gain up (on the solo...)...

Thanks, Sr.! Here, a track with both pedals stacked... which is the usual thing.. they are alway together..

Yep, sounds fantastic. Definitely a winner.
Thanks, sir! Ian s peals are amazing....
A bit more of it on the solo, here...!

Hi Fradejas, thanks for answering my question.

Cool sounds!
I'm wondering, you say you mostly always stack the Pep Box and Warmjet V (I'm guessing it's Pep Box into Warmjet) but which of those would you say is the one that contributes most to this horn type sound?
Can both the Pep Box with the tone control as well as the Warmjet V do horn type sounds on their own and if so how would you describe the difference between the two in regard to that sound?
Some of the horn sounds in your video remind me a bit of Pat Metheny (I hope you don't mind me saying that), I like that sound but it's maybe a little bit the opposite of the horn / flute type sounds I'm trying to create.
I tried an Iron Ether Oxide from a buddy of mine for a while and it could do almost that exact sound too, also a very cool pedal, however I like the rawer more textured sounds you're getting in your video's better.
As for the Whammy, I know exactly what you mean, it's probably the best sounding pitch shifter I heard so far though you could try one of those Boss pedals maybe because those were the only ones I found to be quite good too (I hope they have a +2 octave setting though).

Hey! The horn sound wasn t very prominent... but i heard it too, and that s why i recently got a Rockett WTF...
but, to my surprise it didn t sound like a horn at all! i use it to generate lower octaves.. you know, fighting with the actual frequencies...
but the horn thing were those two Ghost... i don t know which one is contributing more for that... but i suspect that is the Pep Box... watch & listen to this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAWwBEx3QkcYou can get many of those sounds with the Pep... so i guess is the one for that...
plus, the massive gain and low end of the Warmjet... sustain for days and that horn thing going on...
Your remark about Metheny, it s spot on... together, they have a synth quality... The Warmjet is a very strange pedal... i recommend it very much... get one before Ian gets bored of making them!
About the Pep Box.. i already recorded a lot with it and i want to try other things, so i will let it go...
Since i got the LAL Super Oscillo Fuzz 88 i didn t use the Pep that much... The 88 and the Warmjet stacked.... that s something else..
i ll upload something soon....
thanks, man!

Finally velcroed everything together and (sort of) cable managed.
My idea was I wanted something that could have all the shit I ran in one place and still have it be super portable.
To those ends, I give you...
The Football!

I was able to find a suitcase from my local community college's music department that was rather deep, and found that with the addition of a effects loop, it would be perfect for my needs.
After some velcroing, I was able to make it so I can close the case with all my pedals inside and have it fit flush without anything being crushed.
I have three basic set ups for it. Just the box itself for more simple last minute gigs, box with wah, and box with wah and whammy.
No matter what, I have the box and its contents, which are the core of my sound, which is ultimately the goal I wanted to achieve here.
Usefulness>Prettiness.

Best part, everthing here is gonna run INTO the fuzz factory. Max sonic weirdness!
Yeah, The Ibanez wah is great. Much more a modern sweep, but it can be dialed in for more classic tones.

Didn't get it velcroed till today or else I would have. Unless there late entries?
But yeah, velcro is your friend. 4 feet of industrial strength velcro is like, 11 bucks at my local Micheal's.

You're shitting me? That's less than half the price I pay for 1 inch wide Velcro here in Sweden. Angry face!
