Damn it. I'm "this close" to dumping my trem, verb and looper and going back to an M9 just for simplicity sakes. :grumpy:

The looper is awesome and syncing of effects is SO nice. But I only used like 4 of the 2 gazillion effects in the unit.

Those m9's don't sound bad, if it sonically fits your needs and covers all your bases plus gives you some more you can tap into why not? What trem / verb / looper are you using right now?

I've had this issue too but only with my Ampeg GVT15. Sounds great through the Dunwich, guess I got lucky there.

I'm gonna get up on that Ditto for sure tho, use the TL for the whacked out reverse/half speed/weird shit and hopefully let the Ditto handle the rest. We'll see...

Humming Bird, TC Trinity (Hall of Fame), Headrush. It's all good, but the headrush is off board cuz I have a PT mini. Maybe I just need a bigger board...or look into that Ditto Looper. Less is more for me.

If your rocking a pt-mini I'd definitely check out the ditto looper to ditch the headrush so you can keep your board small. Don't expand your board to fit something that could possibly be replaced by something for cheaper then a new board!

Holy shit, that ditto looks cool! I don't really have a need for it, but I want it all the same.

That etch is badass. As is the LED placement!

^ Agreed, LED placement is perfect!

Dude, Boomerang is crazy overkill on every level unless you're planning some complex looping. I wouldn't waste your money.

Ditto is nice and tiny and simple, early reviews are praising the fidelity of loop playback too which is promising. Could be perfect. The single stomp is weird to me tho, used to having separate start and stop switches. This one requires some double stomps but I'll get used to it. As long as the heavies loop back without sounding shit and the thing doesn't hiss like a sonofabitch, all should be well.

The Akai Headrush is great too. Simple, inexpensive (GC dumps 'em for $99 every now and then), and dual switches so functionality is smooth and seamless loops are easy to layer and pull off live. :thumb:

I'm sort of planning on buying 2 or 3 ditto loopers for the price and size. It's almost exactly what i was looking for in a looper. Mix knob, looping, one button. I would have liked a second button for undo or something, but whatever. I'm a simple man when it comes to what i need for a loop and that ditto is sort of awesome.

can i just say...this forum rocks!

i was on another forum...and a guy was asking about orange amps, and the fact that he wanted a classic rock sound, so i suggested that he should get an older orange to get the real orange sound, as the new ones have really changed. But then i was flamed by others saying, that i was talking bullshit and that all you need to do is get a new orange, and turn the gain down and you would have a vintage orange sound!

Now, i don't know all the technical aspects, but i know what i hear, and having listened to an older oranges i know the new ones just don't sound the same...anyway...i didn't bother responding to it, seems like a waste of time.

Yeah those asshole have their head really far up their ass. My 1973 OR120 has absolute noooooooo resemblance to the fizzy shitty sounding distortion and the bone dry cleans of the new oranges. Seriously I have no idea why people would recommend such overpriced hardware like modern oranges. I guess orange has to make their money somehow.

I watched that first video a while back. It's what sold me on buying one. Super simple, and super cheap. All i need in a live looper.

What's selling me on the dïtto looper is the 5 minute record time. The gt-10's looping function is only around 40 seconds, and that's not enough when playing a couple riffs with variation at a slower tempo. That's really all I need it for.
