Once she leaves town, there's nothing left for me here. I don't know if I should follow her and try to start over there or stay here and just work constantly, or do something crazy and pack up and leave too. I do have a stable place to live, but she and my son are the only things that make that house tolerable. Otherwise it's just me and the old man, and we don't exactly get along great. But I owe him all kinds of money so it's kind of a weird situation.
I'm seriously thinking some kind of big life change wouldn't be bad for me.
Maybe I could move to Eau Claire and build fuzz and let the lakes and snow calm my fiery heart. Or like, Alaskan crab fishing or something. I just want to disappear.
I'm sorry, man. Even though I'm just a complete stranger on the internet, I have a good idea of what you're going through. Hang in there, and who knows, maybe a big life change is just what you need.

Oh, hi payday loan vampires. Why sure, I'd love to pay 40% interest meaning my $200 loan will cost me almost $400 when all is said and done.
On the plus side, this is one of many kicks in the ass I needed to finally start updating my resume.

my roommate's key got stuck in our apartment building's front door last night. I was already home so I let her in. The landlord called a locksmith who told him it was fixed, the locksmith just broke off the key inside the door. Still leaving our entrance unusable to all tenants. Here's hoping they can actually fix it so I can sleep in my bed tonight.

What kind of asshole roommate does that and just leaves it like that?
(I've totally done exactly that before...

)

Oh no, we couldn't get it out, she's not at fault. Just the dumbass locksmith who broke the key in the lock and called it fixed.

Oh yeah, my key got stuck and then broke off. Our landlord just put a new doorknob in there.
For those keeping intimate details of my life, this was before flushing my keys down the toilet.

My kids are cub scouts. Today was the food drive pickup. First, no one leaves dick. We goto areas with nice houses, nice cars, etc. How hard is it to leave a couple cans of food for kids to do something nice?
But that's not my problem. We're dropping it off at a food bank in the middle of the PJs. Some homie's rolling down the street, comes across five kids carrying bags of groceries and without wasting a second begins laying on the horn and cursing in Spanish at them.
WTF. We're dropping off fucking charity to your fucking neighbourhood. How dare you fucking honk at kids trying to do something good and help the fucking people around you. Food you'll probably fucking pick up yourself, cockface.
So, now instead of feeling good about it I'm actually pissed off.
How does one flush keys down a toilet?

Not intentionally, I assure you.
They were sort of hanging out of my pocket. When I simultaneously flushed, stood up and began pulling up my pants, they fell out right at the point of maximal flushing velocity, and away they went.
