I like the diamond compressor for this, always thought compressors were dumb but then I got this and the first time I turned it on it makes such a big difference! The accountant looks really nice too, definitely want to try one of those.

I didn't feel like making a new thread. Catalinbread Perseus. Yay? Nay? GF is doing some last minute xmas shopping and has no idea what to get me. There's a music shop in this forsaken city we're visiting, but that's the only pedal I'm remotely interested in, as far as pedals listed on their website goes.

Please do. It first caught my attention as it was featured in a demo JustNick did on the EchoRec. I'm on my phone but the link might work still. Just skip out until you start hearing an awesome sub fuzz.

Edit: around the 2 minute mark.

It's pretty nice but to be honest I wouldn't go for it, there's plenty cooler, heavier and more versatile octave down fuzz pedals out there.

I've got a Perseus and I love it. As Tristan said, it's not the best, but it's still pretty damn good. It's definitely fun to play.

I didn't find much Googling it to look for that pic, but I wasn't really looking too hard. I remembered it from a Guitar Player article ages ago. From what I seem to recall, they got it minus the neck pickup and decided to soup it up. They added the gauge and may've installed a fuzz circuit in there. Can't exactly remember.

Man I wish my mixer had sliders. The layout of that Yamaha looks reallu nice and easy, too.

It looks like she went for something else (she sent her mother out to do her gift shopping). Still want a sub octave fuzz though. What are these cooler, more versatile options? :joy:

I'd like to bring the RAM on my Macbook Pro from 8 to 16 g. Music wise, I'm okay with 8 but 16 will be more comfortable and will help a lot with video editing.
I'd also love a 2nd UA 710 so I have a good pair of pres for recording.

That's about it for now.

I think I really want a Warped Vinyl now. Or something that sounds similar w/ tap tempo but without the midi stuff.

From the ones still readily available I always mention these:
Copilot FX Mantis, Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Synth, MI Audio Pollyanna, Subdecay OctaSynth
