yah. i'm not super far into it. just got the armored car after the buggy. it's fun, it just feels like a not as interesting Borderlands. but i LOVED Borderlands. like, i easily ran through it at least 10 times per class.

I FUCKING BEAT ORNSTEIN AND SMOUGH. and then proceeded to farm the fuck out of Anor Londo because Dark Souls doesn't care about my feelings, so why not exploit areas? fucking incredible game tho. I've never really been so addicted to a game where I die and get the shit kicked out of me every 2 minutes. it doesn't make sense.

yooo the ds10 is sooo dope! i guess a bunch of ppl who worked on that also made a korg m01 game for ds. (think u can only purchase from japan tho, unless u got one of those memory card dealies)
it models the korg m1 keyboard, which i guess is like the 90s dance keyboard that everybody used....serious dance stabs and shit....plus u can do longer than 16 step sequences on it.

so dark souls pvp is cool, but some shit pisses me off. like how people run away and then shoot poison arrows before they attack me. fucking annoys me. but i killed some dude and got 900,000 souls. totally worth it.

soooo..... i think i hate Dark Souls. not because it's a bad game, it's not. running through levels and the combat system and the gameplay is FUN. but..... the hardness of the game isn't coming from the way the AI works on the antagonistic characters i have to fight, that's fun and challenging... it's in the design. the whole Lose All Souls every time you die isn't just a punishing game design.... it kills all fun for me. needing 1200 souls to buy something, getting 1100 and to a bonfire for a save point, then getting killed right after that bonfire and having all the souls in inventory drop to zero? that's just CHEAP.

games are always about filling the stat bars in fun ways. it takes away what i LIKE about RPG's.

am i doing something wrong? or is that just how it rolls? 'cause i'm thinking about quitting and going back the Ico/Shadows disk i need to spend more time on.

Dark Souls is a super fun game but I wasn't getting anywhere and got frustrated too much.
I figured there was only harm in playing it...probably got an ulcer from all the stress.
Still...a brilliant game.

I started playing the Persona 3 Portable on my vita. It's great.
