Thanks, i stumbled into a couple really cool responses that I'll never be able to recreate
I recorded another little clyp of messing around with the Misty Cave on its own this time, modulated by a self patched Fourses. I ran the signal through the Patch Box this time and used its preamp to boost the signal. I think the first little bit is just the Misty Cave on its own. Just kinda made little adjustments to the Fourses bounds settings throughout effecting the modulation, really into the warble of the Fourses' four oscillators bouncing off one another.

i really like the sounds in this one, UG. are you playing a guitar or using keys?

That was acoustic guitar. I really love the textures I was finding with the Fourses, all that motion just sounded so lovely through the misty caves color. You might check out the ciat-lonbarde sidrax and tetrax organs, this IFM module is basically eurorack version of his organs. The way the multiple oscillators bounce off one another is just intoxicating, and playing the barres is the best. Pretty incredible the range from subtle to extreme with them. Good stuff.

Hey hey. Well, this is pretty good. Judder with CV from SSF Ultra-Random's Toggle a/b out set to give a randomish subtle motion...with acoustic guitar.
CV to begin with
0:53 seconds mute the CV
1:12 CV back on
1:49 mute the CV

Bring back the videos! I'm a simple man, I enjoy watching knobs being turned, toggles being toggled, your face occasionally appearing in the reflection of the pedals. Ah, it takes me back!

Things are still pretty hectic

Hopefully i'll find some time soon
In the meantime...In that MWFX Judder thread I posted a setting I like using, and then made a clyp of the Judder doing some cut-up on a count to 10 song. Then I thought, "hey, why don't you do that with all of your glitch/granular familia pedals? maybe that would make a good video."
Anyways, that particular setting on the Judder is similar to what the MASF Raptio does. So I ran that same counting to 10 video through it
Pretty good listen to their similarities and differences of them doing basically the same thing.
Here's the Judder clyp

and here's the Raptio clyp

pic is roughly where i had the knob on the Raptio, in the middle part i kinda wiggled it a little bit. Tried to get the wet/dry about the same as the Judder.

Hey now, here is how the MASF Possessed goes about cutting up the number counting video. Set it up like in photo, and made adjustments to the Taste, Touch, and Smell throughout. You can hear that "clicky-ness" some granular delays have.
still trying to nail ...666...

continuing with the theme, here is how the Red Panda particle cuts up the counting. trying to do the same thing with all these so the differences and similarities between them are more obvious, but tweaked the pitch knob a bit too, cause its fun.

Hey hey, DRodriguez asked how the Metallik Resonator i built turned out, and I realized I forgot to update that DIY thread I started about it. Gonna try to bring it home this weekend and demo it/write a follow up etc. In the meantime I just hooked up the 24" x 24" sheet metal prototype and recorded a quick clyp. Playing a Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax into it, senn md421 mic direct into the 2i2.

would that i could find the free time

To give a better idea of what this sheet metal prototype of the Metallik Resonating Diffuser is actually contributing to the sound, I made a little A/B comparison. First is the Persephone Ribbon synth direct into the 2i2, then i gently shake and tap the mic'd up Resonator, and then play the same thing through it.

Hey hey
Here's another listen to The Persephone through the proto Metallik Resonator. There are four quick sections, first three I'm in a different scale range on the persephone from lows towards highs. The sheet metal is only 26 gauge and takes off pretty quick with this 50 watt amp, first three sections I tried to keep it from going ape shit so you can hear how the different frequency ranges sound, and you just sorta get that cool reverb for the most part with some added bloomin color here and there from the sheet...fourth section i vary my touch to set the sheet to rattling.

Hey now,
Well now, besides all that good stuff when you stick a contact mic onto the sheet metal you literally have yourself a plate reverb

So, run your signal through the sheet metal and bathe in the plate reverb's goodness, or blend it in or whatever the world is your oyster. So a quick demonstration, I just attached a contact mic to the sheet metal, and here is a short clyp of running The Persephone through the Metallik Resonator as plate reverb. This is just the signal picked up by the contact mic. And i didn't do any additional damping to the sheet metal which of course you can experiment with to effect the signal further etc. I think the sheet metal was like $30, contact mics are dirt cheap, and I believe i've seen resonators for under $30 as well...probably safe to say for way under a $100 you could build yourself a lo-fi plate reverb

Sounds amazing
You should make a sci-fi soundtrack with that stuff
