Can you explain this, Ryan? Does this entail 4 jacks... or just 2?
Also, what's the ETA?
Hey Nick! It'll be 2 jacks, one for in and one for out, but they'll be stereo jacks so you can send in/out a mono or stereo signal, so both channels can go through the loop.
ETA... well shucks, definitely some time in the not too distant future! I'm right in the middle of the Tremolessence right now doing the new pcb layout, I want to get this finished and then I want to work on the RRRv2 and the Elements. I'll be all about those 2 pedals this fall/winter and hopefully we'll be able to afford the production run of the RRRv2 early next year!
Hiya!

Figured it was about time that I got in on all the fun around here.
Anyway, that sounds amazing. Any chance that both jacks could be on one side of the pedal (like the top or left side)??
And one more question — the decay control, can you give us any kind of an idea as far as how long you'll be able to drag that out? Anywhere near the Strymon/WET "infinite" length?

You know, I think I took it for granted that you were already around here... welcome to the forum!
The In/Out/power jacks will be on the top of the box for sure, like all our pedals, and I think the loop and exp jacks will be on the side. I think the RRRv2 will have to be in the 1590BB size box.
The reverb engine in the RRR has a really strict range of possible decay time.. if you push it too high or too low you just end up turning the engine off. So the RRRv2 will have the same range of decay time as the toggle switch offers, it'll just be controllable by a knob.
I need to experiment with some form of feedback of the wet signal though as I'd really like to make some kind of weird infinite reverb option.. I don't know about that one yet but I do like the idea.

Top mounted in/out/power is great, but considering how the RRR is typically last in my chain (and thus, almost always on the edge of my board) it'd be great to see both of those jacks on, say, the left side... like Marc does with the Skreddy Echo. Makes patching things in there
really easy.
And I'd just love to see an "infinite" option too, if you can figure it out. I love that feature on the BSR and WET.

have you considered the 125B for the stereoRRR?
brand all your stereo pedals with the unique box size....

no idea if it's big enough though.

I'd do the loop and exp jacks on the left side of the box, that makes sense to me, but the in/out/power will always be on the top... that's the best.

I'd love love love to get the RRRv2 in the 125B, Kev, it would be my dream come true... but I think the only way to do it would be to do a build with components on both sides of the pcb and I don't even know if my guys in Ontario can do that. The RRRv2 is gonna need a ton of space, I'm still nervous about fitting that sucker in a 1590BB.
You know... a lot of the RRRv2 pcb real estate is taken up by through hole stuff like relays and vactrols... maybe I can do them on one side by hand and the rest of the circuit on the other side... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I don't care if the damn thing is 2 feet across, just make sure one has my name on it.

Haha!
After some quick experimenting I do think a 125B layout is possible and I'm going to try it first. The ultimate challenge! *Final Countdown music*

i'll feel guilty if the time spent on this suggestion isn't fruitful
but it'll be awesome if it does work

I'm really excited to try it, you won't have to feel guilty! I promise!
I think the biggest obstacle to pulling it off is the fact that I'm using 5 big-ass vactrols in the circuit and they take up a ton of space.... now that I have a micro in the circuit maybe it's time to switch the mix control over to a digital pot...

Is there an ETA on this beast?

Hey Jack, thanks! I'll definitely try FETs! I don't even have any of those suckers kicking around, I gotta stop being such a FET avoider. They'd be perfect for this, wouldn't they!
Connor, I'll be working on the RRRv2 this winter but we'll plan on getting the new Tremolessence and the Elements into production first and that will take the next few months for sure. I'll be working on the RRRv2 all the while though!

Thought I'd put this here instead of making my own "NPD" thread.

BUT...
NPD for me.

Korg Pitchblack and something called the Dr. Scientist Sunny Day Delay. Never heard of it.

(j/k)
along with the mini-RRR I got last week (and empress trem & VMSD) I pretty much rule the world. (No not really.)
Thanks Ryan and Tanya!
