I’ve actually got the Hammertone Metal, Chorus, and Reverb and dig them—they’re a bit cooler than you would think and will definitely shoegaze. And I get good impressions on the fancier line, too, and have heard good things about the two fuzzes in the line. So I’m taking Fender’s pedal efforts seriously. And they are too.

I wonder if a non-limited Shields Blender is going to join the deluxe line in a more normal box than the vintage Blender style thing.

I completely blanked on those Hammertones, which seem like a better idea than most of the Brushed Steel line or w/e it's called, which were the ones that pop up so often for parts.

That's fairly close to a dream delay. I wish it had more onboard presets & an FX loop. On the morning it dropped, I watched several of those demos multiple times. It's too bad BOSS didn't send one to a piano & pads person. Outside of something like the Carlsbro Mantis and a few rack units, you can't really find multi-head or multi-tap BBD units.

I might order a pair on sale, and then finally unload some other delays. It might even replace some chorus units.

I'd like to see the DM-101 gut the vintage DMM market. I'm so sick of people asking $750 for EHX delays, and they aren't even the best ones (DMM with hardwired power cable). The early blue/red ones are really lo-fi, and the wall wart units aren't nearly as good either. Those should be more like $350, and you've got people asking $700+ for the shittiest DMMs.

Yass, on the one hand, it seems crazy for me to even consider the expense (not the worth or value tho), but this does seem like a true winning parley to spur cashing in several delays and overall shrink the gear pile while simultaneously adding easily replicable functionality....

This new one looks pretty fancy. I'm obviously set with the dd500 but it's very cool to see boss not resting on their laurels - although the newish looper (in the 500 enclosure) not having the classic boss stomp feels bad.

The nonlinear is sick. Victorialand vibes all the way. Timefactor already does that tho.

It looks like a cool pedal but having an analouge delay that i complex like that kinda ruins the magic for me. The best part with my AD-9 is that you have 300ms nothing else that's it. Having modulation is nice but if we are talking fatures I'd rather have an analouge mode on something that does a lot

The 60 Second Deluxe is a 'Frippertronics' or 'sound-on-sound' style
looping delay, a digital analogy of a tape loop that can do things no
physical tape could ever do, like change speeds and reverse direction instantly. Designed with multi-second looping in mind, the Deluxe can also provide echoes with or without modulation, chorusing, double tracking, vibrato and flanging.

An evolution of our 60 Second Delay, the 60 Second Deluxe does
everything its predecessor can do while providing new options for sound
manipulation and enhanced interfacing with both the player and with
external gear.

We've kept the key features from the 60 Second Delay including that the pedal is always "listening" whether Active or not.

We've improved on the 60 Second Delay in multiple areas: The footswitches are now 'soft touch' types.

We've separated the Fast / Slow setting and Auto / Manual setting to individual switches and added a jack for an external footswitch to toggle between Fast and Slow hands-free. The ratio between Fast and Slow can now be selected to be 2:1 (octaves as on the 60 Second Delay) or 3:2 (perfect fifths!).

We've added a TRS FX loop for the Regeneration (Echo) path. The simplest use is with a volume pedal for foot control of the number of repeats, but any other effect can be inserted. We've also added a Tone knob to roll off high frequencies like an old school analog delay or to roll off low frequencies to keep long repeated echoes from getting too muddy.

Modulation can now be sine wave or square wave.

Additionally, there's a Tick output. This is similar to the Clix option from the original 16 Second Delay and with a little processing (looking at you modular synth heads!) it can provide rhythmic patterns synced to the delay clock, which can then be used to step sequencers, trigger envelopes, etc. Go nuts!
