i actually quite like the Foil-o-caster, but as usual not $2200 worth. and who the hell puts pearl blocks into a maple fingerboard? i think that this is all a sinister plot to make me buy a Telecaster, which is one of the few electric guitars i don't get along with at all.

gold foils sound pretty friqqin' excello (if not magico  ) in a tele, but you wouldn't need $2200 to roll your own to find out :snax:

Latepass but if GTA = toronto, it's because you're not in the states and it wants to take you to fender canada.

(just go to the bottom of the homepage and click the button that says "international" and change it to US-the links should all work after that)

My adblocker breaks the Fender site, so that could be it, too.

All the pawn shop and parallel universe stuff seems cool but it always missed the mark with like one detail imo.

I had a reverse Jaguar bass. I liked it, didn’t love it. Couldn’t put my finger on it.

Had a jag stang. Not necessarily PS or PU, but same thing. Wanted to love it more than I actually did.

It occurred to me I might have been hijacking (sorry about that, PeterB), so I move this post over here. Also, NAMM is coming up this month on the 21st - 24th. It will be interesting to see what Fender will be doing with their short scale guitars.

This, however, is just making my GAS even worse. I think I've reached the bloated-and-on-the-verge-of-exploding(i.e. -reaching-for-the-credit-card) point.

I would like to know if the Sienna Sunburst models really look this vivid. Has anyone actually laid eyes on one in person? I ask because there are other pictures of them on the internet that make them look brown.
