Everybody knows that real Tahitian vanilla is the best.

… or Heath(en) Bar Crunch.
That's a more interesting flavor than vanilla, right?

TGP is parodying itself at this point.

What is a Centaur anyway? just some sort of dirty boost?
It's a Tahitian vanilla overdrive with haunting mids.
I'm actually content with my non-mojo-component Xinsound Sky Overdrive for now. It offers imitation, bourbon, and Indonesian vanilla flavors (3 modes) and is far more versatile than the real deal.

It's threads like that that make me think of the gear page as one giant group of people with pent up rage per poor judgement, squandered opportunities, and overall intense self-loathing. It's like the personification of a Philip Larkin poem meets shitty Bob Seger ballad.

It just baffles me that people have such strong opinions of somebody's touring pedalboard.
It's a working tool. It gets banged up. It's not like somebody's spit polishing it after each use.

Nah, that's just nasty.
It's one thing to have a bunch of dust on it, but that's clearly been soaked and covered with mud or dirt or whatever.
Just because it's a "working board" doesn't mean you have to act like it's actual shit.
Disclaimer: I don't actually care as much as it appears I do. I just like arguing.
Also, look at this thing. How the fuck did that much dirt end up on that fairly new Whammy?

Yea but that's just nasty. Reminds me of a few trades I've had here...

I take good care of my stuff, but not everybody does.
Not everybody has OCD levels of keeping their pedals tidy.

LOL. Yeah, there're nasty dudes & dudettes in this world.
Levels of hygiene vary from person to person. No accounting for being a slob, but it happens.

Be aware that it's way more punk to make your gear look like you killed a man, pushed him and his gear off a cliff into a muddy lake, then dredged that lake for the gear and made a video about that gear.
