peaches wrote:Interesting observation with the Mini too, my Brother knocked my mine off my main board for sure. It can replicate the style of my favourite Mini settings very well (even lower bias settings by mixing fuzz/clean and drive parallel) , and even get some slightly cooler stuff going. Plus it's got a fair few tricks the mini doesn't have.
Yeah, I hear ya. Comments like these make me realize I'll need to spend a good deal more time with the pedal before making any decisions.

First thing I did when I sold my Brothers was buy a new Mini haha. It only does a couple of things, but they're the best things.

I've achieved better sounds mixing the two channels, which isn't really a surprise; there's a lot of room for complex tweaking there. Oddly enough though, the parallel switch setting seems oddly quiet when mixing lower gain settings. Like, almost drastically noticeable volume cut when switching from stacked to parallel. Almost made me wonder if there's something wrong with my pedal.
One thing to keep in mind is that in stacked modes the "MIX / STACK" knob is in "STACK" mode... meaning the farther you have that clockwise the harder the first channel will hit the second channel. On the the other hand, if you have that counterclockwise you'll actually hear a volume *drop* as you can cut the volume from one channel going into the next channel pretty significantly.

Yeah, I just messed with for a little while again, and had a great time getting some cool sounds. It just confirms that this'll be a pedal I need to spend a good bit of time getting to know. Which is fun!

very cool! thx dood. I still am planning on doing some vidz myself that touch on some stuff I don't think some of the other demos have tackled.

oh man this thing is great. I can get some really nasally, almost velcro-ish, fuzz tones in the stack modes. First CBA pedal and I love it. I never thought I would pay 350$ for a dirt pedal but dang this thing is worth every penny.

Made a little demo video with my baritone, since I was missing heavier tones in the YouTube demos.
