So, Dear White People wasn't awful as much as it was just boring.
It's like, here's some angry people talking about social justice in between awkward sex scenes and people arguing.

Sounds like Shameless only boring, yes.

International Netflix is so much worse than US netflix it's kind of absurd.

Me too, and it's SO much better than having cable. Whenever I go home to my parents house and check out what's on cable, it's really kind of horrifying.

Few eps in. While it's better than I'd expected, yeah, nothing particularly groundbreaking or fresh happening there, despite the show's wallowing in its own hipness so readily. Gonna keep watching, see where it goes, not in the least because radio girl is maximum QT314. Also, I greatly enjoy how angry it's making a bunch of people that haven't watched it.

Trying to sleep and failing while my girlfriend watches 13 Reasons Why. I think she's near the last episode.
I've never been so eager for a protagonist to hurry up and kill herself.
The background music is neat sometimes and I like the way it's shot. It has its moments, but for the most part it has no dynamics beyond being miserable the entire time.

Yeah just finished. Was a bit disappointed they ended it there, but I also hate the vadt majority of modern hip hop.
With the exception of MF Doom & co, Atmosphere et al. and the like.
