I dunno, it's hard for me not to sound like a douchey elitist as far as this stuff is concerned, but I kind of feel like if you get it, you get it.... however you choose to express 'it'... and if you don't you wind up in a band like Deafhaven.
Not to get anything back on topic -- I would much rather talk about fun stuff.
