They do seem to be moving away from that sound more.
I could probably place partial blame on the venue. The show was in a brewery so the band got paid off of the beer sales of the randoms and it made the show free which was cool but after getting up at 7:20 a.m. for a meeting, going home an walking the dog, then going back to work it made for a long day when All Them Witches went on at 10:30 p.m. They were slated to play for 1 hr 30 min. but I cut out early. Just wasn't feeling it.
I don't think "looking forward to" really justifies how I feel about the idea of seeing GISM live. I'm sticking with the kind of disbelief I imagine comes with someone holding a winning lottery ticket.
Elder (come on—be a metal band and tour incessantly, wouldya?) Sannhet The Amazing (no idea when/if that'll happen) Field Music (new record coming out early '16, might actually travel to see em, being pretty much my favorite band in existence for years. I saw them in probably 2010, but was more than a bit of a drunko back then and would like a coherent experience.)

Yeah, just saw Elder with Spirit Caravan. Good show. They sounded awesome live.

Yeah, that tour package for Decibel should be pretty fucking rad.
I was reading youtube comments recently, because I am of weak will and base nature, and someone described a cover of hers as "kind of rubbing you the wrong way in just the right way", which sums it up pretty well from my perspective.

Heh, now she's a blast from my death rock past. I would definitely see Diamanda in a heartbeat. A truly unique, weird soul...
