Who is John Galt?
no John Galt is more of a what than a who.
I was alluding to the fact that both questions are virtually impossible to answer
Devi-Ever is a woman who makes pedals.
Aliases: Amber Coal, PixelGoth, others.
Really really good pedals that Kevin Shields and Billy Gibbons use.
She happens to be trans. She happens to be a video game developer.
Dwarfcraft bought her company a few years back and makes many of her old designs.
She has an incredible propensity for attracting drama of all kinds.
Sometimes this is not her fault at all.
For example there was drama in 2011 involving a pedal called the Silver Rose.
Billy Corgan said some really mean shit to her.
I think literally thousands of people realized that Billy Corgan was not only a harmless old cheesdick, but an EVIL old cheesedick, through following that drama.
Sometimes the drama IS her fault.
She invented this awesome pedal called the Console.
It's not a pedal so much as a system (remember, she's a gamer, too).
The pedals are on cartridges you insert into the Console.
Why someone else has not made it, I do not know.
Anyway, the Kickstarter was funded.
Afterwards it was revealed that she had some serious serious IRS problems.
Afterwards, she donated money to a charity instead paying back her backers.
It took her a long time to pay back the money.
Once she begged the developer of
Minecraft for money on Twitter for no discernible reason.
Summary: absolute genius, mover and shaker in the pedal world.
Also not 100% mentally stable.
As this thread more than fairly attests.
I was surprised that she and Aen had words in this thread.
I assumed they were on good terms given that they bought the business from her...?
Guess I should have asked.
To weigh in: no Devi, he wasn't mansplaining feminism, he's married.
I am too. I am my wife's husband. She's my wife.
Marriage = you belong to each other.
Besides, you just dropped the N-bomb and you're pretty white...
I dunno if you ought to be playing the "Liberaler than thou" game.
