I LOVE IT!!! Instant B.O.C. toanzzz for dayzzz... I mainly use the 2 step pattern between times and set them slightly apart so it's a really customizable Chorus/Vibrato machine as well as having some really nice Overdrive on the Input Gain... One of the KEEPERS...

Man, I'd really like to try one. I wish I had the determination to save up for one. Maybe one day...

Here's my bedroom rig. Nothing special, but it covers the bases.

It must cover them completely, because I don't see no basses.

Hey man, do you like the vox? I've been thinking about getting one for friends to use when they come over and for me to mess with.

It's fun, not hard to dial in, and takes pedals pretty well. It is a lot louder than you would expect. I have it barely on 1 on volume at 1 watt and it is still louder than I feel comfortable playing late at night. 1/4 watt isn't as clean as I would like. The attenuator really kills the headroom, which you would probably expect if you wanted to crank it. It can get a little harsh with single coils, but the tone control can knock that out.
It would be good for friends. Nothing over the top, good tone, decent size.

to be honest - my experience is as such:
4W awesome, any other setting get's a bit muddy and not in a good way, in a weird, chokey way. On 4W it's brightest, one of the brightest amps i've ever played and the Tone knob didn't really seem to do almost anything
but it has tonez

I feel like the graphic novels and role playing game books give the Peavey Rage a nice warm, punchy tone. Warm and punchy.
