Speaking of VFF's, if anyone has been thinking about trying them out, REI is blowing their 2011 stock of Vibram Five Fingers
http://www.rei.com/outlet/category/22000056If you buy today they are even cheaper when you add to cart, some of them are 50%off + 20% off that total + free shipping (1 day only).
I just picked up a cheap pair of KSO's for a mud/obstacle run. Don't feel as bad thrashing something I paid 1/2 price on

I bought a pair of Komodos last summer and they have been amazing for runs/training.

In the last month of an intense cycle, I'm in the best shape of my life and feeling great.
If you've noticed I've been around ILF less it's because I've been outside ripping up the pavement or hitting the irons.
I've had two goals this past spring...improving my physical health to prepare for the impending zombie apocalypse, and improving my mental health so I can finally get a solid nights sleep.
My zombie survival skills haven't exactly been put to the test (yet), but I'm sleeping like a baby and my focus/energy levels have been through the roof.

Decided to do small amounts of "exercise" again like sit-ups, push-ups etc. No real aerobic exercise or anything just basic shit so I don't feel like such a lump all of the time.
I just did like 3 minutes of this stuff and I'm already tired. It's been a loooong time since I've gotten any kind of a work out.

I just took up trying not to die at too young of an age after my doctor said i have high cholesterol and liver enzyme, especially for my age. Ive been running and doing crunches and pushups almost daily. Ive found the endurance curve for running to be steeper than i thought, I hope to reach a mile without needing to stop within the next month which is a pretty impressive for me.

actually lost some weight on vacation
did a bunch of swimming and less computer noodling
also Props to Jfrey got a pair of nike Huarache free for training instead of my typical air maxes and my feet and legs feel significantly better.
I will post some pics of the kicks at some point
I don't think there is a kicks thread on here but if I could post some pics it would save me from joining another forum

I have some running shoes in the mail. Reebok Screams

I'm setting a personal goal to get in shape this semester. Running and lifting, with the weight set my parents have in the basement, right near where I set up my room.

I'm finally getting back in shape. This Spring I had a respiratory infection that lasted several months. I dropped about 20 lbs - most of it muscle. Slowly getting back into it, but my strength and endurance have been shot to shit.

Been trying to go to the gym twice a week with my wife. We are doing a 30 mile cycle in October and we are preparing. Kind of... I really like doing the olyptical. It burns a lot of calories and makes me feel like I'm doing something. I've got to do something though... Since I graduated I gained AT LEAST 10 pounds, and that was just three months ago....
In a semi-related note I've grown my fingernails out for the first time in my life. It's SO HARD not to pick/bite them off

Nah. Just because I've always picked them until they've bled and stuff ever since I can remember. Also trying to train myself so that when I get married in April I don't just have stumps for fingers in my wedding photos!

nice nice, so when they do that classic closeup of the rings it won't look like your wife slipped a ring on the predator

I've been averaging between 9-12 miles on bike the last week. Trying to get into (good) shape so I can make some longer commutes at school. So far so good!

I had been doing some yoga, then I stopped because of finals, I need to get back on it and riding the bike.
I have started to get a foodbaby.
I used to work out for a living (I was an Iron Worker), and I would lift weights at home for periods of time after working 12 hours+.
Now I am too sedintary.
