Ooh a DeArmond Tremolo Control..the first guitar effect pedal..EVAR
It's an electro-mechanical effect...meaning it actually has moving parts that produce the tremolo effect..but I can't really remember how...
:erm: perhaps I should have let elwood explain... :idk: sorry

Jazzmaster pickup in either the bridge or neck.

I change my mind, a mini humbucker/firebird pickup in the bridge!

What's your jag colorway now?

I've been playing with the idea of getting a gold guard for my black JM...

came to me a horrilbe poly 'olympic white / poorly relic aged yellow'. i stripped it and did reranch inca silver nitro, going have a solid black p/g and black pickup covers. waiting on the last bit (the p/g, which took me an age to find) while she hangs and the clear hardens. fingers crossed, i should get it all put together next weekend.

secks...

honestly, i did not even consider it. at least, not on this one. very specific goal here...

but i was eyeing that john 5 tele deluxe and thinking how nice that neck would look on my black telecaster... if my next project is not going to town on the tele, it will almost certainly be a jazzmaster, which will almost certainly have a colour-matched headstock... :thumb:

Coming my way: dd5 and mke behemoth2

Really wanting a hold2, m288, and fix'd...though I need to stop getting pedals for a bit if I ever plan to build myself a tube bass amp here somewhat soon :idk: So far I'm thinking Sunn 2000s, Bassman (modified), one of those Traynors, or a tube style Acoustic 370? Whichever I ended with would likely have ohm switching, multiple jacks for another cab, and effects loop (though I don't ever use the one in my acoustic b200).

no worries here, explain away.....but yea....it's mechanical....shakes a bottle filled with windex to create the effect. the windex carries the signal from one side to the other..completeing the circuit. kool little trem.

What BYOC kits did you get? I have the Rat, and I've been thinking about getting the chorus... and possibly the Shredder. Best kits money can buy.
