I'm gonna say this as a casual observer who pretty much offer hugs and cat faces to participants in this thread. It seems you have a tendency to hold on to the past, a past that is now irrelevant to who you are and your life, and beating yourself up about it. And there's no point about it.

No because I'm a robot and emotions are not binary. Seriously, what do you think?
Also PV, fat and sugar will do a lot more for your well being than country music, which is horrible music made for pick up trucks. Have another

I'm the most nostalgic. I know it. And i drank caffeine yesterday, which i'm not supposed to do. Gonna go to a party tonight and try to get fucked.
I know i need to let go. It's just... This person did bad, but i probably would have been with her much longer and had a really different outcome had i been less susceptible to peer pressure. It's cool though. She looked way different, and seems to be doing alright. Gonna try to run into her today, only to say "sorry, i want the best for you"

I need to find a way to block myself from reading the news, as I now firmly believe that the human race needs to be extinct as soon and as swiftly as possible.

Was going to post this yesterday. Minus the part about you being an idiot.
Not exactly superstitious but I do try to avoid signing contracts and buying complicated electronics during *those periods* due to previous experiences, which may be nothing more than coincidence, but those things seem to go more smoothly/provide fewer headaches when I wait a few weeks...if possible. Enough of those incidents happened for a pattern to emerge and make me consciously adapt behavior for (what currently seems to be) the better.

Avoid facebook, twitter. Your general mood will benefit from an immediate boost.
Leave the tv turned off, cut ties from hateful excrement factories like buzzofffeed & gawkerfuffle.
Instead, play some rekkids & mess around with your awesome music gear, vidya etc. If you spend a bunch of time at youtube, avoid current events and any sponsored content or reaction shit. Just watch old cartoons or something. Those member berries can sure be tasty
Plus, in keeping with the
mercury retrograde theme, this is a prime opportunity to take stock & catch up on your backlog that isn't related to nor associated with the Bizarro universe shit taking place in [current year] election year.

I mean, even if Mercury Retrograde is just coincidences, or confirmation bias, it still has worked out for me to pay attention to it, which is why i'm sorta kicking myself that i chose to move during it, but oh well. I don't actually think i'm an idiot, sarcastic tone transfers poorly to the internet. I just know that a lot of folks on here are more science minded in a way where if i were to chalk up my intense nostalgia to the fact that my sun, mercury, and mars are all in Cancer, they might laugh. Which is fine. My experiences made me the person i am, and i mostly like that person, despite my endless capacity for momentary self loathing (i return to the sun in Cancer point).
friendship: i got back on social media to prepare for my move, but i spent a year off of it and my life was only positively impacted by the choice. Just find other ways to keep in touch with folks. I believe in you!

Yeah these last could of weeks have been kind of meh, but nothing super awful has happened yet (just still waiting on my security deposit and being broke, but 'broke' is relative and I have coffee so I'm fine)

Good idea, I am going to Log Off. I don't have Facebook, thank Christ, but I do use a couple others where shitnews is regularly reported and discussed. Barf.

Yeah IDK much about astrology, there's a lot of junk science and snake oil type industry surrounding it [cold reading psychics etc] and people who think their daily horoscope is gospel...but something to consider is
The Farmer's Almanac has made seasonal, regional weather pattern predictions with a historic 85% accuracy since the 18th century. Those speculations are largely astrologically based, and to be coincidental for so long is highly improbable from a perspective of probstat maths.
From a perspective of science... things like magnetism, gravity & temperature affect
everything on both micro & macro scale. Solar flares originating from 93mil miles away can have downright brutal effects on this goofy planet. The full moon has an observable affect on human behavior as well. Check police blotter for more info

I had no ideas this was a thing but will now be cognizant. I'm sort of a "read the horror scope but only pay attention only if it is a warning" type. If anything I just like friendly reminders to always practice ever looming anxiety, fear, and dread. Like a modern day Thomas Hobbes.
Psychic, caffeine is an issue? I personally have accepted I literally could not live without it. Like I can go a day or two but that is it. I've actually taken adderall a few times this week. Which I enjoy!

Astrology is a hard one. i don't love deterministic fatalism, but i recognize that i looked at my natal chart and i was like, god fucking damn, this all makes too much sense to simply shrug off. And i definitely believe that certain planets retrograde is a fucking thing. Summer 2015 had a venus in retrograde and it was a god damn hassle. Mercury retrograde occurs 4 times a year and different ones are more profound or challenging, but they're always felt. I know plenty of people who garden by the moon to success. There's definitely something real going on there. And yes, the best horoscopes are always like, here's a thing to be mindful of this week, which usually apply to large swaths of people pretty generally.
$T: Caffeine is like, one of the first things it is suggested you cut when doing DBT, because it can be intensely mood altering/anxiety inducing. See 4 am cryposts about exes, you know? I know i do better when i'm not over-caffeinated.

I'm with you. On one level it seems to be a lot of complete bullshit, yet at the same time like you said, people's sign characteristics and especially detailed charts can be eerily on point. My info's all pretty correct. Anyway, I also like it.
I didn't even realize it was Mercury retrograde right now, but it makes senseāI don't pay attention to its times but whenever I'm informed that I'm indeed in the midst of it, my first reaction is "oh that makes sense, because everything's been VERY shitty lately."
This time's no exception, certainly the most horrible personal time in recent memory that I can think of. Breakup shit, hating my career choice and feeling horrible about myself for ending up where I am, not having very many friends. Then again, all of that stuff could happen at any other time, so...

Except that it's willfully vague enough that it can literally apply to anyone or anything. It's a vestige of specificity and antiquity that gives it any weight. So, like, if I'm a Capricorn (which I am, as I'm googling this shit now), on the first/I'm feeling lucky link it says that today "Other people's indecisiveness could leave you feeling frustrated and stuck today, Capricorn. Realize that you can overcome this by pushing past them. Don't feel like you need to wait for others to make up their minds before you act. Do what you need to do and others will catch up when they're ready. You aren't responsible for the well-being of others. Concentrate on you. "
Holy shit this is word salad. It actually means nothing.
Ok, so, sign characteristics. Again, google, I'm feeling lucky:
Capricorn dislikes: Almost everything at some point
...
Fuck.
