Thanks

the anti-nautilus is pretty pretty incredible, and all of those Tocante are such great sounding and fun to play instruments.

Hey hey, here was my attempt to emulate the Anti-Nautilus. It's granular chippity choppin is similar to the MASF possessed, but it also does reverse kinda like the Red Panda particle...so i ran the particle into the possessed. also took the sequencer CV of a Koma FT201 into the expression in on the particle to control the probability of direction, because of fun.

Here is a listen to the Mutable Instruments Clouds. Playing acoustic guitar into the Pittsburgh Patch Box with modulation from an envelope follower and a random voltage generator.

Hey hey, here is a listen to the Make Noise Phonogene in Broken Echo realtime mode. No modulation, just made a couple adjustments to slide and gene-size throughout.

just don't have the free time to film/edit longer demos right now, but can share some quick sounds clyps.

i did add photos as per your suggestion from earlier, you gotta use your imagination of my lovely arm and hands wigglin knobs

Hey hey, awhile back I read about a trick that would let you use CV from synth gear with pedals that let you use an expression pedal but not CV. You need a VCA, and a simple cable mod. Well, i just got a couple modules with VCA

Don't really understand the WHY, but the how is you make a 1/4" jack to 3.55mm Y cable. Plug this into the pedals expression input, and plug the 3.55mm ends into the IN and OUT of the VCA. Then you modulate the VCA with whatever CV source you want, and like magic your pedal's parameter is being controlled.
I only had a chance to try it out with a Freakshow Effects Hiray gated fuzz, which has expression control over one of its filters. I tried it out with a couple different CV sources, and it worked! Here is a little clyp, its a pretty simple but clear example. I used the clock output from an ultra-random module. First is the pedal on its own, then I plug in the expression cable. i play a little line and then change the clock speed a couple times. The guitar is plugged into the Hiray and that is direct into the 2i2 interface.

Recorded a quick clyp of the Ieaskul F Mobenthey Swoop's square output hooked into the expression jack on the Hiray. First is the sound of the Hiray by itself, then with Swoop plugged into the expression jack modulating the HIray's filter.

Hey hey, here's a listen to two Gieskes No Drums doing their thing. i.e. "module that tries to sound like drum sounds but mostly fails at it"
Modulated by Ieaskul F Mobenthey Swoop, Fourses and Denum

Hey now, here is a listen to the Ieaskul F Mobenthey Dunst dust and noise module...NOISE
It outputs four different sources of noise, and i go through them in order of Noise Pulse, White Noise, Dust Ramp, Dust Pulse. There is some VCA and FM modulation going on throughout, I run them all together at the end. Supposedly the VCA does some sort of left right panning out of its stereo outputs too, but couldn't figure that part out yet.

Hey hey, well this is pretty incredible. Using that modded cable I hooked up CV from the eurorack to CV in on my Lastgasp Art Laboratories Sick PItch King Jr. frequency control parameter. It worked

Went through the toggles and freq range knob, blend was almost 50% the whole time except at the beginning. Its an acoustic guitar into the SPK Jr which is plugged direct into the 2i2 interface. At the end I unplugged the cable from the expression jace, and manually sweep the freq knob on the SPK Jr. I liked some settings more than others, some times the Swoop oscillations seemed disconnected from the guitar signal...which is pretty cool too cause the Swoop is a beautiful farty mess

This little VCA/cable mod trick is really going to open up the possibilities for me interfacing euro with expression/cv input of pedals. Apparently the IFM modules will handle a guitar signal direct in too, but that's for another day

Great sounding clyp, Uncle Smogfather.

Thanks! After I made that clyp I sussed out what was making what do what and when, and I messed around a bit and realized...hey, run the guitar through an envelope follower and modulate the Swoops with playing dynamics

With the mix at 100% wet on the SPK Jr, and with the modulations more apart of the notes i'm playing like in the beginning of the clip, wow i was getting some pretty incredible soundscapes and textures going

Well well, hooked up the Lastgasp Art Laboratories Tone Axe into the Misty Cave. Sent CV from a couple Ieaskul F. Mobenthey moduals to their expression jacks using that modded cable/VCA trick. First up is just the Tone Axe into the Misty Cave, then it should be pretty obvious from there. I sorta messed with the knobs here and there as I went along, playing acoustic guitar...which by the way I think sounds pretty incredible with the Misty Cave.
