Just made very basic framework of my first noise-soul demos on garage band. That means, I just poked out the drums and synth bass. I got the guitar parts in my head, but I gotta wait to record. I'm pumped though, I didn't think the main riffs would translate as well over a drum beat as they are. Once I get the guitar is just a matter of layering crazy synths/vocals/computer percussion.
Then it's a matter of actually finding people who want to play this crazy stuff with me.

I am getting very close to getting my new amp, and finally figured out the definite first couple of pedals I want to get after it for this rig overhaul, so by the start of October I'll be rocking some nice, nice tones.
Also, I have a new tech who is both a lovely and capable fellow.

Yesterday I was at my local guitar shoppe and I saw someone that I think got lost on their way to guitar center. He was a plus sized gentleman playing every telecaster and stratocaster bridge pickup in the shop into an ac 30, didn't know what an f-hole was, and jammed over you if you had the audacity to play chords over his miracle blues pinch harmonic run. The big pay off though was when someone played a chord change (I forgot what it was) that, if you want to solo over it, you have to change key to follow the chords and he had the most mortified expression when his a minor pentatonic stopped working. He then shifted down a fret or two to make it look like wasn't he wasn't just trying to cop a jam as everyone who caught that slip up snickered.

Mudbucker is awesome. I was interested in trying it out, but to be honest given the reputation I wasn't sure how well it would turn out...
TURNS OUT THAT SHIT ROCKS
It's like the polar opposite of the jazz bridge, I love it!
