Re: THE BEER THREAD(?)----->!!!
Since my local go-to brewery was bought by some EuroGiant, their new formulas haven't been as much to my liking.
This was their last solid effort, and happens to be the perfect brew for 90+ degree days with that lovable Midwest humidity.
The only good news about the buyout is that two of their former brewmasters have moved on to tiny operations that are now churning out FANTASTIC grogs.

Had a craft malt liquor last night... It was like a better version of steel reserve. Not a very high bar by any means, but I've had worse beer.

Craft malt liquor. I have now heard it all. Steel reserve saw me into a mindless oblivion on more than one occasion.. who am I to judge?

If it's cheaper than Victory At Sea, I think I'm down to try that.
(I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than VaS)

Today I had my first beer in a few weeks. It was glorious. Some IPA from Henhouse brewery. They're a great local place that pretty well took over the counties beer world in the last year or two. All their limited releases taste the same and I always love them

What's a good fancy beer that I could possibly get at a grocery store and that doesn't taste like complete ass? I feel like IPAs are in some kind of war to see who can make the most bitter thing possible...
