It's just perfect circuit moving from eBay I think.
Good for bumping UGs thread though. Always good to have it around.

I'm really liking the perfect circuit offering system. Swooped up a new super oscillo 88 for $250 earlier today. Curious to find out if they are offering up to 30% off of most their goods, I may need to buy more shit.
Anybody using the moog ep-3 with their 88's? Or am I gonna be better served with the ev-5?

I like the system because it helps get around the minimum advertised price rules, but Perfect Circuit tends to be overpriced with the LAL stuff. For example, at paypal's current exchange rate, the super oscillo 88 is at 236.90 direct from LAL. Not a massive price difference at what you got it, and you'll get yours a lot faster. But the advertised price is so much more inflated.
Let me know whta you think of it though, I'm always on the fence with that pedal.

there was something i bought recently from them.,..maybe that big koma step sequencer, make an offer wouldn't accept ANY offer other than retail
but yeah, when possible and all things considered I would prefer to buy direct to cut out the middle man and give all my monies to the builder. added bonus with buying from LAL is the exchange rate if you're in the usa.
i've tried my moog ep-2 with the 88 and i'm pretty sure it just didn't sweep the whole range...don't think there was any odd response, and there wasn't any cool additional noise added like when i use the ep-2 with the misty cave.

Seems I need to step up my international ordering game. Should've known considering all the cheaper Masf that I see paisted all over ebay.
Unfortunately perfect circuit doesn't want me blowing my tax return with them as most of my offers on other shit have been declined. I'll order LAL direct whenever that verb drops.
I'll give my ep-3 a try as there is an internal pot to adjust the sweep, but how much I'm not sure. Luckily my local swap shop has a dusty ev-5 I could probably trade a bunch of old DVD's for. Thanx for the info's.

Hey hey, didn't have time to film/edit/upload etc. but here is a quick listen to the Ciat-Lombarde Tocante Karper. It has a built in speaker and sounds pretty great on its own with some really cool resonance, didn't mic it just ran a line out into the Scarlett 2i2. Don't really know how to play it yet haha, but here goes anyways

thanks for the heads up but i'm in the midwest
I heard back from peter about the output jack on the Tocante....
"So, karper and zenert have active outputs,
so they won't take a signal in on the jack; they only output there.
Bass bistab, as well as all the other primitive ones- bistab, thyris and
phashi- have passive outputs, so yes you can use them as an amplifier too.
just try to not make it too hot because i can't gaurantee if it won't burn
it out or something--- that would be extreme conditions."

Here is another listen to the Ciat-Lonbarde Tocante Zenert. I've been finding that the creative use of conductive materials really brings out interesting sounds with the Tocante. This is the Zenert with little pieces of aluminum foil on my two of my fingertips, and i play a little with my bare fingers too here and there. Recorded direct into 2i2.
