Wow, that is a stunning color.

Candy apple orange! Is what they call it. I love it but honestly it looks better in this photo than it does in real life! Lol got lucky with the lighting?

I usually don't like orange, but it looks great on guitars. PJ is best combo, nice score, is that a Lull?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh just bought a Dingwall Z1 for a killer fucking deal!! Got it for 1960 shipped from Arizona! The guys pulled it off of ebay and we did the whole thing via their music store and invoicing. I told him, why not save 10% buddy? He was really happy about that! They are shipping it today! I talked to Sheldon about it this morning and he confirmed it's an awesome bass and a great deal! I'm so excited!!!! I didn't even really want a Dingwall that bad, but I did, you know? It's weird. LOL. So I may even still buy another bass after I sell my house! LOL!
So here's pictures!!!

Nice! I'd really like to try a fanned fret instrument, see what the fuss is about.

I loved the 3 I had previously! LOL! I'm just a whore. So what's nice is that I have this guy incoming and I still have my MTD 435! So I've got both!!! YES!
Plus, I might be doing an all custom build this next year. I'm moving and going to make a fucking killing on the sale, so for the first time ever I'll be able to have the money to put into a custom build. I was leaning towards Elrick, but now I'm thinking Roscoe. It's going to cost me a LOT, but it will be totally worth it. I've owned 4 Roscoe's and loved them all. Miss them all. Felt stupid for flipping them all. No other bass besides my MTD has made me feel that way and I've tried a lot of them. Low to high end and in between. I definitely don't need any of them, but I love music and love being a bass player. I'm thinking fretless for the Roscoe. I really love fretless and keep coming back to it even after I say I hate it. The whole process is just so magical to me. Plus I play with my eyes closed 90% of the time anyway.
God I'm talking a lot. Ehhhhhh....penis? Boner? There we go.

Yeah it is a Lull! I've always been simultaneously intrigued and bored by why they do, you know, boutique fenders essentially. But I have to hand it to them, the tone is great and the neck is easy to move around on and the fretwork is flawless. I didn't like the way the guy I bought it from had it set up, so I lowered the action on it, and it was so easy to correct the intonation afterwards, notes feel very "true" in any position.
I actually showed my girlfriend pictures of a few basses that were available locally and she was like not the orange one, so that sealed it. lol. It's actually a more conventional color than my other bass which is two tone mustard/mustard sparkle.
And I agree, never tried a PJ before this but now I'm loving it.
My only problem now is I need to find a string set that works best for it, the seller has Rotosound Swingbass on it, and it sounds killer but these strings are known for a short life span, I tried some DR nickel Lo-Riders which I love on my G&L and they sounded weak on the Lull... first world problems, my bass sounds amazing with these Rotos on it. Maybe I'll be the guy you see wiping his strings down after the gig...
