Re: The Netflix/Hulu/Prime Thread
I haven't read the comics, but after the ending of season 3 I sorta felt there wasn't much more to do after they've solved their current problems.

Re-watching all of Better Call Saul lately.
Fargo is the only other show I can think of right now that even comes close.

I still haven't watched past season one of either of those shows. And I loved both of the first seasons. Thanks for this reminder.

Stranger Things 3 is proving to be a nostalgic trip through childhood peppered with familiar 80's tropes. The missus and I are probably almost halfway through at this point.

New season of Venture Bros is finally on Hulu.
Sometimes I wish there were more seasons, but every season has been perfection so far that I can get over it.

Re: The Netflix/Hulu/Prime Thread
soooooo just a bit into The Expanse on Prime, can tell i'm going to dig it. since it's still only a few episodes in, would recommendation be to pause, read the books, come back to the video version? or watch through the series then get all wordy with it?

I've never read the books but love the series. And did Amazon save the series after it was cancelled? If so I've got to get on that!behndy wrote:soooooo just a bit into The Expanse on Prime, can tell i'm going to dig it. since it's still only a few episodes in, would recommendation be to pause, read the books, come back to the video version? or watch through the series then get all wordy with it?

They picked it up for, "at least", a fourth season.MrNovember wrote:I've never read the books but love the series. And did Amazon save the series after it was cancelled? Considering how long it tends to be between seasons on Prime, I imagine they'll probably just wrap it up with the fourth.

Re: The Netflix/Hulu/Prime Thread
Fricking love the Expanse. Definitely my fave sci fi show since BSG.
Wrapped Good Omens and laughed hard.
Starting S2 of Big Little Lies. One episode in and I am definitely onboard with them continuing it, despite the way S1 could have stood alone.

Re: The Netflix/Hulu/Prime Thread
I am also enjoying Big Little Lies, much more than expected.
Also, when I type "Big" my phone suggests "Ass Latina" next.
