yeah, when i first got to researching euro i was kinda surprised at all the love vactrols seemed to be getting, especially when i was looking into Make Noise. i was thinking so these must be the germanium transistors of euroland haha. after getting some lpg in hand and being able to hear what all the fuss was about I totally understand the adulation. really really love the meng qi dplpg's, and the lxd too. i guess i still just think of them as vca's though. i'll be sure to check out that link, thanks again :thumb:

Maths as a VCA is just for shits and giggles or if you really, really need another one and have nothing else. It kinda works but it's a bit janky :).

And yeah, the DPLPG is super nice, love mine too. Efficient little module...

Cached reddit post (cause it's blocked at work) that has a lot of good info on it:

good read :thumb: guess i thought of the whole vcf/vca of a lpg as being more similar to how the maths/dusg...and pretty sure the smooth output half of a ssg...can be used as a simultaneous vcf/vca made me think calling it a lpg in that use was more appropriate than just saying vca. maybe someday i'll get my euro acronyms down

I love the lpg I built off nlc's board. It's a blast...lots to do in there and options for mods.

It's also a terrifying money pit. Even more so than pedals.

I'm pretty much all about simple setups when it comes to sound. Otherwise I tend to get in my own way.
Like the cables-spaghetti blocking controls on all of dem module interfaces :whoa:

i thought it might be a good idea to try using a couple multiples with the Teleplexer. It was.
