That's funny about the wood paneling.

i'm right on the verge of building a matching "case" for the knas. all one piece with open back, side panels that follow the contour and a front plate that extends an extra 2" across the front, with a bottom to screw the unit onto. that front extension i'll hollow out and make a sliding lid. this is where i can store some of the smaller devices that i use to manipulate the springs with, like tapered metal files or wooden dowel rods etc. i'm always misplacing that shit.

Why do you go LP Filter into Ring Mod? I've always thought the other way round was more effective. It just seemed to make more of an impact on the sound while having them ordered that way around seems to make the ring mod overpower the filter. Or is there a reason for this order I haven't yet thought of?

You make a good point, but the moog lowpass into the ringmod can get some really really cool sounds as you sweep the filter through its range. However, for my purpose I'm running the freqbox into the lowpass filter for when using the robot set to arpeggiator, or for octave down where i'll find a pitch position that glitch steps ever downwards. This results in some insane tones i'll sweep with the filter to enhance. Also in general, I'm using the ringmod basically for LFO CV OUT to modulate the delay pedal. Then i'm sending alot of CV OUT from everyone to the cp-251 for extra lovely, of course I could also send LFO out of the cp=251 to the delay. just depends on what end result you want. i'd add that i like putting the lowpass filter first in the chain to get that fat "moog" sound, and also because i like envelope filters at the front end.

some really nice interaction from all three pedals with the ac15 set on just the verge of breaking up. love them high gain buzzaround tones. and damn jerms can make an incredible sounding pedal. zonk machine cranks out some weird noises..i.e. chording in a heavy rage of fuzz and sliding out and up in a double stop up the neck while trem picking and the oddest..or even ... harmonies jump out in random places as weird squawks or a sort. really cool.

What's better than one mid 90's fender blues deluxe? that's right, in stereo set to swirl.

those are nice but not really for my style. i play alot of gigs where i'm sitting down at a table with effects strewn about, sitting in a chair with my guitar. i'll have some expression pedals on the floor and other on the table top where i'll use my hands to make minor adjustments while doing the same with my feet. i also use a hand full of infrared cv pedals that i manipulate with my hands.
