In other news apparently my less-than-excited nature about new personal/professional developments are translating across the internet (not to you guys) so maybe I'm going to have to be my own foil in the near future.

Yup, yup. I hate the phone has made everyone (myself very much included) just expect everyone else to be constantly available and present. No one is patient, everything is an emergency. Fuck this. Now with smart phones it's like, if you're not the most engaging motherfucker in the room, people will just look at the internet and ignore you. Addictive Cyborg Existence is terrifying.
