… or you could have DannDubbleEwe build you a klone off a Madbean board. The one that skully built sounds really nice.
I sort of hate how much I want a klone now. Damn you Chank.

I don't need gas for this fucking pedal, really.

Best SY300 demo I have heard. I wrote the pedal off after seeing the price tag and the awful blue-lick demos when it first came out, haven't paid attention since.

Is it hard to build a Ramp Up function into a pedal? My friend left me a BYOC Vibrato pedal with momentary ramping footswitch, holy hell is that ever useful. Why can't all pedals have the ability to fade in?

I'm conducting an experiment.
Struck a chord through my
Seppuku AudioSlime EccoDrone and turned off my amp 15 minutes ago.
Going to check back with it in another 15-20 minutes to see if it's still there.

I got a package from UG once during the AARP tourbox. The package self destructed as soon as I extracted the contents.

Ever since it was announced I've wanted to try a Palisades, I just never brought myself to get one.

I mean, I always dial a lot of mids, so a souped up tubescreamer should be something I'm interested in...

Try the dunes first. No sense spending the money on Palisades if the Dunes does it for you.

Naw man, it's go big or go home here.
Besides, I'm planning to buy used, which is more forgiving in the realm or reselling. I'm pushing myself on this idea since the Boneshaker is so fucking good on bass I might leave it on my Bass VI board.

Reaper: anyone know how to get it working to control an external midi synth? I've gotten my tascam us2x2 to work with midi devices before, but it ain't happening now (the software that worked was specific to that device).
I'm trying to get to the drums on my Roland cmu-800 but can't with the beatstep. I am using the beatnic.jp converter to get midi to the CMU, but can only use the melody section (which sounds better than I imagined). I thought that changing the midi channel changes the synth section, but changing the channel on the beatstep does nothing.
Limitation of the beatstep? User ignorance? (After using the beatstep for a minute now, not really a fan...but that is a side story about a tone deaf guy with no visual note feedback to play by numbers...). Can it send program changes?
Anyway, I thought reaper would help make things easier so I could see if I wanted to pursue using the device, but can't get it to send a midi message through the tascam (and this was after getting extremely frustrated with abelton live life...figured out it is pretty much useless for my needs...hate all this DAW stuff and really don't want to commit money to something that won't work in my flow, you know?).
Update: figured out reaper...man, unorganized software...like routing midi in software and out external in a whole 'nother place haha oh well....ummm...
I actually like the cmu a lot...those Roland drums with judder is fun.
