Tape Delay arrived and I got back the Ripper fuzz I was lending to a friend. I am one happy camper.

That's pretty awesome; but where are your pedals? :p

if you look closely, you'll see I built the power supply ;) next photo will be more narcissistic I promise.

also @ amnesiac, some will be up soon. if you emailed me about it already you will get some sort of update/notification in the next week or 2.

How's the hog treating you? I've heard good things about it, but I would like to hear first hand how you've used it and if you found it useful.

You know, for science.

the SYB-3 is wacky. I love it. I think all I need now is like a wah or a phaser or something. And more fuzz.

signal chain is top row R-L (up to revolver) -> bottom row R-L -> polytune mini -> DL4

AWESOME :animal:
Yeah, you need some wacky filter pedal... :thumb:

Thanks :)
Technically the SYB-3 and noisebox are filters but maybe I should look for something a little more controllable

SYB-3 and noisebox have to sound awesome together and give you so many options
they both seem to like to sneak into synth territory
so something like a groove regulator may be perfect for ya

they probably do but I can't try that how it's set up now. in the modes i use the syb-3 plays back a sampled note triggered by your playing with a filter applied to it. I probably should have put it AFTER the noisebox cos it won't track the input note with it switched on first
whats kinda neat is if you set the clean level at unity and the synth level pretty low with a slow sweep and you get these awesome sweeping synth sounds in the background when you play arpeggios or whatever
definitely an underappreciated pedal. probably cos it sounds terrible on bass and it was supposed to be a bass pedal

groove regulator seems neat, thanks! TO YOUTUBE

I love the groove regulator
and the FM4 is always a good option
currently use the same filter sounds on my m5 and they are great

I miss having a noise box and SYB-3 and you are right it always sounded better on guitar than bass

guitar->volume pedal->Whammy IV->boost->OD->Big Muff->Hardwire Reverb->Behringer Vintage Time Machine->Ibanez DE-7->TC Electronic Trinity->Boss DD-7->Boss DD-20

Probably gonna make a new pedalboard (i.e. a slab of wood with soft stuff on it) sometime soon
