I'm really really really happy with both of these pedals. eccodrone is pretty far removed from my memoryloss, and the hysteresis or whatever its called is more than i could have imagined from a ring mod. along with the new b-filter...man he's on a roll

i hope he tackles reverb next
Chankgeez wrote:Ring mod or not, sounds pretty groovy.

after spending some more time with it, certainly behaves like a ring mod but sonically its all seppuku

errr...audioslime

But the pedals came from New Zealand and from Rhys, right?

Re: UG demos Industrialectric Echo Degrader Time knob settin

Hey hey, so last couple demos gave a look at the Degrade and Tape Input settings and this time I wanted to give a listen to the Time knob settings on the Industrialectric Echo Degrader. Got the Tape Stability knob set as low as possible to give little effect, and same with the Degrade knob....so all/most of the cool lo-fi artifacts etc. are dependent on and resulting from the settings of the time knob. Threshold is set to keep it from self-oscillating cause I'm riding the Repeats knob maxed out or thereabouts for the most part. At the end i just let it degrade the repeats over and over, and then flip the Repeat Mode toggle to show how it can just repeat pretty much forever while the repeats get more and more deliciously degraded.

Hey hey, here is a quite small sample of the fun to be had with The Dark Interpreter Mater Tenebrarum, Our Lady of Darkness. A plague driven? glitch/granular delay synth.

yeah i still have no idea whats going on either but have started to find somewhat though not really predictable results from certain motions/pad combos etc

its just a John Fahey solo acoustic guitar track and the rest is all glitchy granular slowmo etc. fun from the MT. its stoopid awesome

Of all forms of synthesis, I'm starting to like granular the most.
I should be granulising right now.

Indeed, this is going to be a very granular centric year for me
and on that note..here is a listen to the BASTL Microgranny 2.0 granular sampler. I wanted to use a John Fahey sample for this one too but last demo I got copyright notice from youtube haha. So I went ahead and played some Fahey myself direct into the microgranny's input with Kramer 450G, at I guess 8-bit quality. Turned out sounding pretty awesomely lo-fi, i hope it doesn't get flagged haha.

and...here is another more thorough look at the microgranny using a sample i recorded using its built in microphone..also at 8-bit i believe.
