I'm so fucking bummed. First time Bongripper comes to CO and I'm already doing something that day. Girlfriend bought ales and rails tickets way back in February, so I can't even duck out.

Mother... of... god... Bongripper at the marquis? ?? I am shitting bricks of joy right now :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

Yeah dude, it's going to be insane. I am still shocked we were asked to be part of it -- so many cool things happening this summer!

Yep. And power supply cables.

I checked it out, sounded like Weedeater. They're kind of the hillbilly stoner version of ACDC. A lot of their songs sound similar, but if you dig them it's usually good.

Probably the best description of Weedeater I've ever heard.

Just sold my Ampeg 410HLF, for the price I bought it for 2 or 3 years ago, after a day listed on CL. I needed the gear fund money and the storage room, plus I still have 4 more bass cabs, so it feels pretty nice.

Bongripper! You must be beyond stoked.

I'm still gassing hard for this. One is ordered, I hope it actually comes and is at least the beginnings of a playable instrument.

So new tail piece/tremolo, rip out and install new electronics, metal pickguards, better pups, fret dressing. replace truss rod covers, unforeseen issues, possiby refinish.

Why do I do this to myself

Saw weedeater last night. They rented out some newer orange stacks for the tour and they were bitching about how bad they sounded on stage.

Individually, the guitars and basses sounded meh, but it made a lot more sonic sense when they actually started playing. Guitars that were originally very papery and crispy suddenly seemed to fill more sonic space when the bass rumbled in.

I will say, I prefer the main dude with his sunn betas and the guitarist with his Marshall. But the show still kicked ass.

So I might be selling both of my Musicman heads soon... If I get enough money, maybe a Meatsmoke or an SVT in my future?

All guitars should be double necks....I bonded instantly with mine.

What's that string company with all the super huge gauges and custom sets? I'm thinking of turning one of my guitars to drop-Z just for some variety.

Are you thinking of circle k?

Your double is beyond amazeaballs.

You should post some more pics of it in here just so we can all bask in its glory.

I have a 12/6, but the way I am now I have no use for the 6. I suppose I could do some alt tuning bu I think a bass would be way more usefull for me. Looping a bass line and then jamming on it should be a great tool for coming up with new stuff. I've also been toying with the idea of a side project lately and it'd be cool to be able to do it Boris style.
