Does the small version of the Q not sound as good or something? (I really don't know). I would have to mod the hell out of that Muff to make up for the huge real-estate...or is it one of the old ones with tone switch?

It's one of the old ones with the tone switch. It sounds awesome.

I should prolly just buy a smaller Q-Tron, I don't think they could sound that different from the big box version.....

Depends which, some are completely different designs.

The Mini Q-Tron is close enough in design to the Q-Tron though, both based off the Mu-Tron III

And answered.

I enjoyed both your's and Jordan's demos posted so much that I was compelled to order.That being said, I've been very happy with my OD sound from the OFD and could probably go without it, but with the Outlaw I can keep the OFD in fuzzy mode and not have to use it for OD.

neat. yah, i haven't tried the OFD. i'm so happy with the B3k and i've just.... never dug on multi's doing dirt. mebbe Source nailed it, but it's just not a need for me.

BEF2 SHOULD BE OUT NOW GIMME.

Yeah, my experience is similar. Not all of the sounds are winners, but at least 4 of them are really good and combining it with the midi flexibility makes it a very compelling pedal for me.

Paring down the bass setup for stripped down rock and roll.

Bass: SD-2->LS-2->Sadowsky Bass Preamp/DI->VPJR->Amp

LS-2 Loop A: OC-2->Supercollider

Got the TU-2 in the tuner out of the Pre/DI

Also trying out an RC-2. Still trying to wrap my head around but I'm liking it for practicing purposes. When I go back to work I'm going to be on the hunt for a better sounding bass overdrive to replace the SD-2.

The DL4 sticks around the house for guitar fiddling and also learning the looping functions on that.

EDIT: A bit more Clearer of a shot.

Yea its got a clean blend yo so it goes right at end before the first looper (dl4) the infinity is for prerecorded drums and samples. Your greenine 4545 would be on there but I find the absynth plays best with guitar and my bassist is messing with the 4545.
