 That's awesome.
I would like to know if its the output buffer that's overloading my preamp or not playing nice with the BF or just the little Hiwatt not handling my signal chain and low tuning.
I've tuned like 90% of the fart out, but it creeps in enough to annoy me.
When I get cashed up again I might pick up a rev to run the FZ2 into, I found it to be a better tone fattner/sculptor overall.
Keep the BF for when it is fucking business time.

It's a true road warrior relic and has all the scars and stories to prove it. The neck is amazingly well worn in as well as the fretboard, and the neck shape is pretty much a dead on match to my Monson. As soon as I got it I installed a Nickle covered SD Distortion (that I hand reliced first), some .12-.60 strings, and set it up for C standard. It plays awesomely and sounds HUGE and thick with lots of crunch, so happy right now. :yay:

Also, with a Couch Vegan Leather Strap it has absolutely no neck dive at all, and sits perfectly for my left hand to not hurt.. :doom:

NICE dude!!!!

Guess what I finally found over the weekend at a liqour store at the beach:

They had three bottles so I bought them all!

It's soooooo tasty! It tastes like real dark chocolate, not some hersheys milk shit, with just the right amount of apple mixed in. And even though its only 6.9% its fukkin effective. It's gonna be my band practice drink for the next two weeks.

That SG is fucking righteous

Very comfortable, very look good

like seriously, no joke that website is the end of your search. I own five

Even their seatbelt straps are better than ANYTHING I've seen at guitar center, and half the price. A big plus for me is they make them extra long for tall ass mofo's like me.

I got one not long ago after seeing you recommend them another time.

In other Skip-related gear porn, what are you using for leads, dude?
That red-ended thing plugged into your SG looks nice and hardy. Like it could cop a pizzling.
I dig that chunk.

Well done sir. Well done indeed.

Why thank you good sir!!!

BoatRich wrote:Yo that SG is sweet! Also, that Woodchuck looks delicious. I'm drinking a Boatswain (Trader Joe's house brand I think?) American IPA right now and listening to Pallbearer and it's a pretty good end to a night.

Thanks broham! You can try it on friday!

and damn that sounds like a good way to end a night!

ShaolinLambKiller wrote:Ancient, nice, very nice. And I normally don't care for SG's at all. Nice to hear you found one with no neck dive, that's usually a rarity from any I've played also I hate ones besides neck dive, there is zero weight in the body where all the weight should be.

Thanks man! Yeah I was expecting quite a bit of neck dive, but when I got the strap locks on and the strap adjusted then let go it just stayed put. I was seriously like this :wha?: then :yay:

Thanks brosephus!!! I couldn't stop playing HoF's Blood from Zion and Windhands Orchard on it last night, it just felt so right.

By leads I'm taking it you mean cables (man leads sounds cooler, you ozzies are awesome). I mainly use Lava ELC's (at home or in the studio) or Mogami Platinum's (live, cause their all ready broken in and used well), the one on the guitar is a Lava ELC 12' straight to right angle and the red end is a designed with a movable ground collar so it doesn't pop when you take it out or plug it into a guitar. I then use a 20' ELC from board to amp. For live I use either 20' Mogami Platinum's both guitar to board and board to amp, or sometimes I use a Livewire Elite 12' from guitar to board (when I won't be moving around much and don't want all the extra coiled up cable on the floor).

Pretty little maids all in a row there Skip. I don't see the Esquire, so I assume you've already shipped it to me as a present... ;)

I've got one of those 5 guitar racks in my closet for when I'm not using certain guitars, it's definitely come in handy! Plus they don't take up much space
