This morning was the perfect foggy morning to spin one of my desert island albums.

can't see that first one, Dowi (probs regional blackout shite) - but I like that progression :)*

edit: using the url to navigate to youtube confirms - blacked out Cure Seventeen Seconds....noice.

also, it's been foggy and gray all week to the point where i am like a moistened bink carin' for chix and doggos and that's always a good time for New River Head which that Jesu is resonatin' with in my head which is quite foggy all on its own in a way that is quite interestin' like

later on:

My subarachnoid space is acting funny like it's been invaded by some outside agency so i'm listening to this in hopes of teaching it to recognize its oddity and maybe inspires it to retake control and act like a subarachnoid space should

Just heard that Jerry Jeff Walker passed on.

When I did my show with my country band last year this was probably my fave tune that we did. Singalong city!

I've been on a huge Afghan Whigs kick lately. This morning i was listening to Congregation for the first time in a while, and i was almost forgetting how powerful this song is.

Also i just realized i don't have even one LP of theirs --> off to Discogs now

Dated a girl circa 2000 who was super into Beth Orton, but I can only remember the more straight ahead folky angle
the earlier more electronica-y stuff is fascinating as a time capsule, there is no way this could have been created before 1990 or after 1993
