Man I gotta lot of stuff to listen to tonight to catch up, its far too noisy at work today to give anything a worthwhile listen.....

I think beerhammer on the general forums has a meatsmoke but a 100 watt version. You could probably hit him up for what he thinks of it.

Not only would I suggest taking his opinion as null and void on just about anything and everything in life and gear, he's also quadruple permabanned.

Based upon our troubles when first moving onto i love fuzz on a more permanent basis, I thought he was a giant asshole and I totally agree with you. But I don't want to stir up shit with the other i love fuzzers. So I was giving the benefit of the doubt that he might have something to contribute. But I'm right there with you skip.

we should make a Doom Room highlight reel thread. Just repost the significant shit in there for posterity and not respond to anything posted there. that way folks can catch up with goings on and not have to wade through all the conversation.
We'd have to establish some guidelines for what goes there and maybe have a blanket statement for what the thread is for that gets posted at the top of each page?

Yeah....more individual threads is a better idea than non-stop only posting in this thread. Shit goes by way too fast for me to keep up with and because there aren't a lot of posts in other threads AND no new threads get made I don't check in on the forum as much. IT'S A VICIOUS CYCLE THAT NEEDS TO BREAK!

Totally understandable. but with the way he went out I don't think other ILFers will get upset by these comments.


There is the Verellen Owners Club thread in the general section, and a couple members have Meatsmokes. I think that would be the best place to start.

Anyone have much experience with a Meatsmoke on a baritone guitar? I'm looking for a deep, super punchy clean amp that can handle deeper frequencies like down to A most of the time but also down to E in a VI.

This whole forum just makes me want more amps on a daily basis... Also, I need weird psychedelic effects that will work just as well with bass as with acoustic guitar, mandolin, and banjo (I do some weird shoegazey folk stuff a lot.) but still be heavy and doomy.
