Dowi wrote:Thursday update: megamix assembled last night, just ended listening to it on the way to the office and it flows quite good.

it's the first time I listen to all the tracks in a single session and I must say it is a satisfying experience. Most of the samples are totally unrecognizable but there are some distinct parts that are still identifiable and appear in several tracks, and this makes the entire project feel coherent.

Gonna upload it later today so Hak has time to set up the bandcamp for Saturday.
Great ! :!!!:

I am glad to hear this. I knew some of the samples in my track would be pretty identifiable and I was worried it could end up sounding too similar to other tracks if they used the same samples. I'm glad it gave it some coherence instead!

Bandcamp back-end happening today. I'll most likely still be up when Bandcamp Day starts, so it'll probably go live c. 3am Eastern/midnite Pacific.

Yay!!! Great stuff thanks... it was terrible weather here today, definitely Okta 8... so we spent an hour listening to the results instead of going outside :)

Could we ask a favour? Please could we have a link to our bandcamp in the info part of our track? https://mushroomsinshampoo.bandcamp.com/ thanks very much, sorry I forgot to ask for that before!
