Someone else had posted this previously and it was taken down.

I'm assuming it leaked too early.

I'll be here all day folks.

Fender's doing real CuNiFe wide range humbuckers for the American Original '72 Custom.
Make it a Deluxe and I'll start saving my pennies.

Just the fact that i finally read a description of a new reverb without the words "lush"and "textures" is worth my respect.
The alternate function with secondry settings for freq, depth and time (i guess) is a nice addition.
Also, GONG mode?

Speaking of reverbs, Context 2 will be available in April:

Finally! V1 Context has a some of my favorite algos, but really needed this update to catch up to some more recent verbs in functionality.

I am curious to know how they decided to manage presets with this one. I don't see the small lights like in the Particle 2,but the second switch is marked as "preset". Don't know if they have been able to give the ability save one preset for each algorithm or what.
Anyway pre-orders should be available this week at 299$, we'll have more infos once it will be up on the website for sure.

I told myself I wasn't only gonna buy a few pedals this years but I feel like the Context V2 is probably gonna break that. I was a huge fan of the V1 so the smaller enclosure and update to the hardware/ algos is awesome!

We're hurtling towards the first $1000 guitar pedal. Super sad times.

I use midi with the EDP in addition to a custom footswitch. Most loopers dont actually have deep midi control though.

Glad that I'm in no way horny for any of these uber-expensive Chase Bliss things. I'm sure the reverb is going to be great but I wouldn't really care that much about the authentic tone blah blah blah playing guitar and I can get pretty much all the way there in a DAW with VintageVerb for $50.
