My plan was to find a couple of tracks that I liked and make loops out of the and play them of the different loopers I have available(Rang III, RC-3 and Volante) and run it all through my pedalboard and do everything "live" and hands on.
But I never really got around to do it this way.

When the, extended, deadline was getting closer a friend of mine said I could borrow his Elektron Octatrack for 6 months, cause he was going to Vienna to do an internship there.
So when I finally got around to sitting down with the OT I thought I could use this for the OKTA instead, especially since all my other gear was in the studio and I wanted to do this at home.
I was running out of time, so I just skimmed through the different recordings and used samples from 6-7 different ones and recorded them as 10-20 second loops on the OT.
Did some time stretching and pitch shifting to make them play well together and added loads of reverb and delays, and some grit.
Recorded it straight from the OT to Logic(as a stereo track) and added some EQ, compression and "master" reverb there.
So it kind of ended up as what I was planning, I just stumbled over another way to do it.

Yikes, what a week it's been! First time I've looked here for 5 days and everything has changed! Thanks to Heraclitus and Shikawkee for their hard work :)

Please could our track be called:
Band Name: Mushrooms in Shampoo
Track Name: A Corruscating Curtain Reveals the Dawn

If no one else suggests an image, I could have a go at painting something tomorrow in Photoshop. Something abstract yet cloud like seems right in my head anyway...

Here goes something... it was only an hour of painting so if nobody likes it I'll be fine with that :) And if people do like it I could put some text over the top - in which case what do you want it to say?

Edit: I have no idea how to scale an image to fit, sorry. To see the whole image, go here: https://imgur.com/a/2VE82w4

Edit2: Fuck it, I'll just make the image smaller manually!

This should work?

I have a notion of what I want, font-wise, for the title, so I'll putter with it and see if I can get something.

Will otherwise be collating the information and uploading tonight... hang tight, folks!

Okay! I have an almost-ready draft album in hand. There were two tracks that just had titles but not artists, so just waiting back on a couple PM's to get that nailed down. moid's painting has really grown on me; the cover is going to look like a really ace thrift store New Age private press score. Thanks to the mastering, the tracks would have sounded "together" in any order, but I think I wrangled them into a nice flow.

Release pending!

Nice one!

I opened the artwork project on photoshop yesterday but realistically I won't be able to make anything consistent until next weekend so we can totally use yours.

Fwiw your track is one of my favorite, even if the workflow was improvised!

I've been waiting to listen until the final track listing was posted. I am loving it so far. Everything sounds amazing so far and it all works very well together. Great job Heraclitus Akimbo and shikawkee!

Currently listening to Upwards and really enjoying it. The animal-esque background noises remind be of sitting on the front porch of my parents house late at night where there would be a constant undulating of frogs from the marsh across the road.

I had a piece of video that seemed to fit with the sound of my piece. It only ran about 1:45, so I slowed it down to match the length of my music:
