I still wish it went higher depth because the range of the control is 90% useless for me, but I'll probably keep it around because it sounds pretty amazing dialled in right.

Re: Fairfield, the announcement of a new pedal?
So when I first tried it, I was really annoyed that it was too subtle. But I plugged it in again today and I don't know why but it just worked and did exactly the sound I was looking for when I heard about it.
I think first time I tried it AFTER dirt as well and that sucked, but before dirt it's really nice.

only if you have the mix too high.whoismarykelly wrote:Yeah if you have no damping then the depth works as it would on most other pedals. If you damp the modulation even a little the depth can disappear pretty quickly.ProCarsteNation wrote:Finally picked mine up at customs today.
first impression is twofold:
a - could be a bit of a one trick pony
b- I don't ever wanna stop listening to that trick
contrary to you other guys I'm running damp all the way ccw to get those sweet inbetween noises and using depth as... well depth.

I'm loving that parametric eq filter. Sounds lovely! GAS intensifies!

Those look cool but thankfully not for me. I love their stuff so much it would cause my physical pain to get GAS for something of theirs....

Those and the compressor are not for me... and you know I like Fairfield stuff a lot. The price tag is way too high too.

Those look nice, especially that eq. I wonder how much gain you'd get out of it though.

Oh I have indeed been bamboozled by the CAD once again. I knew they are Canadian but I thought that it was higher at the moment.
Well, now I'm a little bit interested...
The Four Eyes is pretty sick! I used to have one many years ago. It is discontinued though yeah.

Your nemesis is the canadian dollar, which the french canadians are deliberatly tanking to make you look silly online

Re: Fairfield, the announcement of a new pedal?
If they keep tanking it I'll buy more Fairfield. This is a fair trade for looking slightly sillier than usual online.

The EQ would cost 447.25$ including Canadian and Quebec taxes (before shipping). Sorry, but this makes no sens to me.

Re: Fairfield, the announcement of a new pedal?
Obviously, Guillaume hates Québécois and doesn't want any of 'em to buy any of his pedals.
