Correct (about the Minutemen).

Similar,

Their frontman barely moves as he plods through Drop-A doctrines of divinity. And their bass player didn't even know what a bass was when the band started, how noob is that?

I assume its Mission of Burma but that's just a suspicion (and the timeline is off anyway).

HA HA HA HA YES!!!!!!! I knew Chank would be there for me.

Geoff Farina got so far deep into the "toan hole" and "tasty lixx" thing, it's a bit ridonkulous... but yes, I do still love them...

Well, jrmy, I don't' check this thread often, but when I do, I've got your back.

Not sure how exactly this effects things either, but Geoff did go to Berklee. :idk:

Also, they lost a good bit of their "hardcore-ish-ness" when Eamonn left the band.

Ding ding ding!!! :thumb:
I haven't been super into his most recent output but Untrue/Street Halo/Kindred are all so damn good.
EDIT: re-listening to the self-titled, which is lighter on the dub influence than I remembered. Also killer.

Crazy dude almost bankrupts crazy label, puts out album that sounds like it drank all of the robotussin, takes a gajillion years to release another album, never apologizes for all of the bespectacled nerds he inspires to abuse whammy bars.

We stupidly named our album after Greek food because we were hungry at the time, I guess.

Yup. It's the 24th anniversary of the release of Loveless today, so I felt inspired.
