I saw when that was listed earlier.

Not sure I've ever seen one exactly like that.

Knob placement isn't very ideal, but often wasn't on those early lap steels.

I'd say it's probably original.

Difficult to say for sure without having it in hand. (All similarities to Musicman pickguards are likely unrelated.
