I've been using mode 2 on a coupe tracks I'm working on.
I used mode 2 for some stuff on my last album - one track in particular has the main loop going through that, plus background vocals through it.
http://lero.bandcamp.com/track/aylerin addition the gb24 v2 is all over everything I've done since I got one in june of last year.

welcome to ILF!
Thanks!
I like this pedal so much that's it's made me do something else I've never done, which is post some video demos/plays for each of the three modes. Just some very small things that I came up with yesterday after playing with it for a few minutes, not really exploring it in any depth. I've got the first mode set to almost a regular delay sound, controlling the feedback with an expression pedal. Very tame considering what it's capable of, but I thought it might be interesting for folks to hear anyway.
I'll hopefully get a bit more time to play with it tomorrow...

DUUUDE FASTEST SHIPPING EVER
I literally just got the pedal. Scott emailed me five days ago about the shipping and we live on different continents
pretty tired and beat after a few busy days coming to/playing shows and travelling around. Had just a few moments to try it, but DAMN
Haven't grasped pretty much anything yet, but most sounds I found are pretty awesome. It was super easy to make a very abstract, textural loop, so mission accomplished
Thanks, Scott, seems like a badass, inspiring and fun pedal. Really glad I decided to buy

I.E. should I buy one soon in order to make sure I can actually get one?
It will probably remain in production for a while. But ultimately yes there will be a limit to how many are made. As new designs come out, i don't tend to keep old ones in production unless there is significant demand. Let's realistically say until AT LEAST the end of the March 2015, and likely longer?
Awesome, thank you. Hopefully I will buy one soon

That's awesome!

Is that a nylon string acoustic you're playing?
And do I spot a Hexe Revolver there?
I'm really curious about the rest of your pedalboard!

very nice. many thanks to people making any demos because I have not had much time to complete more myself. In december things are going to free up a bit hopefully.

Yes, it's one of the Godin multiacs. My main axe for about 8 years or so. I'm slightly reticent about posting my full board because I'm afraid that I'll get run out of town...I've only got one dirt pedal on it and it's not even a fuzz. But I do have two different flavours of ring modulation on it, so maybe that will make up for it.
Yes, it's a Hexe Revolver, you are one eagle eyed pedal spotter! I've been running the CT5 into the Revolver on its random auto mode with the awesome results that you would expect. I might put a video of that up too...but for now...
Three more videos of the 3 modes. The first is using mode 2 to get some glitchy stuff happening, a completely different texture to the Revolver, really dynamic and lively.
http://youtu.be/LPLOSI1my8AThis is mode 1 set the same as in my first mode 1 video (...I think...) except that I have the repeats set for an octave up.
http://youtu.be/nIR7oyayFUEThe last is mode 3 quantised to chromatic intervals and using the overdubbing feature near the end to make things busier.

Run down with suggestions of how to fill your board with fuzz - yes. maybe. But nah, there are heaps of cool boards here that don't have much fuzz. There is even at least one active member who doesn't even own a single pedal any more. But no-one likes him. (I kid!

Life, what?

It's a barrel of fun! Trying to get better at using it so I can use it in songs - just try and get used to how stuff sounds to make using it as natural as possible. Going to run it first on the board (then I've got a revolver after dirt, but before modulation). Potential to get lost in glitch is enormous.

vidret wrote:if i get this right, could it do something like the ehx freeze by setting the knobs right and just tapping the momenty switch?
or is it gonna get a start/stop sound
you can do something a bit similar, but you need to actually hold the tap button down for some duration, then it will just loop what happened during the time teh button was pressed (third mode). There is a bit of post processing after anything is recorded to eliminate stop/start 'ticks' but its not exactly what the freeze does, although ive never played one, im pretty sure it will sound a bit different. But the 'idea' could definitely be approached.

It's so frustrating...to see all this positive feedback and not have one of my own. I'm thinking that xmas-for-myself idea sounds juuuust right. It's got that same sort of sound as a Particle but much more intuitive and applicable. UGGGHHH. GIMMMEEEE

I really dig the fact how it reacts to being fed with other effects
tremolo is really cool, envelope filters as well. Octave down is super fun. Delays make it seem almost glitchy and random in the first mode. Fuzzes, heavy distortion sound great... damn even octave down into fuzz into envelope filter, a.k.a my gnarly analog synth sound, sounds GREAT. Not choking up and cluttered as i feared it to be
oh and i'm talking about CT5 on bass

the octave up delays are super fun on bass

This is/is NOT what I needed to hear.
