^ My vote's with Gremlins, if only because Hoyt Axton is in it:

Best Christmas movie ever
I thought the best Christmas movie ever was Gremlins

Bad Santa is the best Christmas movie ever. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

This is very true. I need to recast my vote. #1 Bad Santa, #2 Die Hard. I honestly haven't seen all of Gremlins

Woah, gotta see that! Anyone mention this director's film, Cold Fish, yet? Very good, too.

Cold Fish is indeed good stuff! Didn't he do Suicide Club as well?
Just saw The Zero Theorem last night. I liked it a lot. Kinda like Brazil for the internet age, I guess? Some truly stunning visuals and great ideas.

Watched Wolf Creek 2 last night. Good for a chuckle. Was ok but not as awesome as the first. Had more humour than the first. Maybe it will be like the Evil Dead trilogy and get funnier as they go.

I need to see this

Do it.
4 hours well spent. Fucking great film. Thanks a ton mr. ramonovski!
Watched it just now. Reall cool flick. A nice mix of japanese humor, gore and a carming, if somewhat strange, lovestory. The girl playing Yoko was worth the watch alone. Very purdy

Yeah that's the one. No heads on a stick in the second. It is a lot of fun though. If you like that kind of thing.

Haven't watched this yet but figured some of you guys might enjoy if you're into documentaries and noise:

This was an interesting documentary:

Also I am really excited to watch Kill Your Darlings.
It's based on a book (And the Hippos Were Boiled in their Tanks) I really enjoyed.

I've been watching Twin Peaks. I've never seen the whole series before. Only the first few episodes, a number of years back. Fuck is it good. The second season's pilot is gnarly. David Lynch knows how to end an episode by freaking you the fuck out. I have to go to bed soon, thanks.....

Rigor Mo's was neat butts. love the very asian way they deal with mortality rate of characters.
just watched Tusk..... MAN that was a bad movie. like. if it was edited down to half that length there'd be enough for a good silly bad movie. but that was borinnnnnnnng. i really wanted to like it but.... ew.
there's a cameo that could have been funny if it was a minute instead of about 40 minutes, the parts that were s'posed to be funny were like painfully reaching for funny? at about 45 minutes it would have been a tight, interesting movie. Michael Parks was great, Justin Long is just awful. the Kevin Smith asshole but it's okay because look giggles patter was horribly written and needs a somewhat likable or charismatic or just decent actor to pull off, Long is none of those.
good to see a chubby Haley Joel Osment getting work though.

This is disappointing but I believe you, I'll be skipping it.
Has anyone watched Red Line? It is absolutely the coolest movie that will ever be released by humans
