That looks amazing!
What are the pedals to the left of and above the Echo Degrader?

Thanks UC
The pedal to the left of the Echo Degrader is a Ghost Echo clone built by a guy local to me. The silver with red markings above the ED is a noise swash I built from a 4ms kit a long time ago. The brown one in the center is a mixer I've been working on that uses body contacts to mix the signals.

Gotta ask about the bowl? Trying hard to resist a 420 joke.

Using a contact mic on it?

Yes indeed. A contact mic sits comfortably beneath it.

Very cool setup! Thanks for the clarity.
For a very brief moment, I visualized several audience controlled sphero/bb8 robots rolling around inside the bowl like snowboarders in a halfpipe generating havoc with the contact mic. But it was only for a moment.

Doing my first noise performance in over a year tomorrow and I'm pretty stoked. Going to be using the maximal drone into my board and a mixer with a tape machine for looped/sampled books on tape. The Pitchfactor with the Maximal is super versatile so hopefully I can get everything I need out of that+some reverbs and delay.

That would be pretty amazing. Sphero robots in the thunderdome of a singing bowl.

How do y'all structure your sets? I realized tonight that more careful planning is in order to do this live regularly. I could also do to use less gear. Two boards is a lot for one person to manage. I'm thinking of simplifying down to my mpx 16, a synth, the Maximal, a small board and a mixer

What kind of shows are you guys playing? I can't imagine too many places around here would be receptive of my noise show.

Richmond has a pretty solid noise scene honestly. I just did a set at a bar that usually has hardcore or metal shows and most of the stuff around here is at smaller bars and houses.

I finally have my gear mostly set up in our new house. Just need to hang the hand and cable hanger. But I am so freaking stoked on it already!
